About this deal

Looking for a hands-off device: The S7 MaxV comes with all the necessary features to effectively run on its own. Once the initial setup has been completed, the robot can vacuum, mop, empty, and refill as needed. With the app, a custom schedule can be created that will allow you to set the cleaning schedule you want. You can, of course, manually edit the map to label individual rooms; edit or add furniture; and create No Go Zones to prevent the robot from mopping or vacuuming certain areas. Once you pair the robot, the app walks you through some of its features and prompts you to install firmware updates. During the initial setup process, the app gives you the option to toggle certain features, including map saving, multi-level mapping, Less Collision Mode, and pet avoidance. During the setup process, the app gives you the option to toggle certain features VibraRise® công nghệ lau rung : hệ thống lau rung vận tốc rung đập lên đến 3.000 số lần mỗi phút giúp robot đánh bay các vết bẩn cứng đầu, không chỉ thế khi robot gặp thảm còn có khả năng nâng khăn lau giúp thảm không bị ướt trong quá trình hoạt động.

On its maiden voyage, the S7 MaxV Ultra maps your home. In testing, it automatically labeled my bedroom and living room with the correct names and gave the kitchen, office, hallway, and bathroom generic names like Room 2 and Room 3. It also automatically added some furnishings, including mybed, couch, and dining room table, thus allowing for area cleanings around them. The robot also offers 3D and Matrix maps (the latter is only available on the iPhone 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max), but these features weren't very functional or useful during testing. Based on internal testing carried out by the manufacturer. The term relates to the integrated mop module being able to be driven to produce high-speed reciprocating vibration of up to 3000 times/min, i.e. up to a frequency of 50Hz which is within a “sonic” range (20 to 20,000Hz). Video call to anywhere in your home through your robot. See who you are talking to, and hear them too. As well as creating a 2D map of your home, the robot vacuum also offers a 3D map. In addition, for those who are using the robot vacuum with an iPhone, there’s also the ability to create a matrix map, which uses the camera on your phone to capture details about furniture and floor types, so you can start a clean that may simply encompass the area around your bed or the dining table, for example. However, this functionality is only available to those using the robot vacuum with an iPhone 12 or above.Sonic Vibration Technology mops at up to 3000* cycles per minute to shift dry stains that traditional robot mops may leave behind. The S7 MaxV is pleasingly quiet when used on its lowest level of suction. Our decibel meter measured 55db when cleaning hard floors, rising to 63db on Max+, with a slightly increased figure of 68db on carpet. This is equivalent to the level of noise of a shower running. Mopping prowess is the biggest game-changer on the S8 Pro Ultra. This includes the ability to not just clean the mop after a run, but also the ability to dry it — preventing the buildup of mildew and other pesky germs. There’s also an enhanced VibraRise 2.0 Mopping System that offers a wider mopping zone and a brush that can lift out of the way so it doesn’t slow down the cleaning process. Not too long ago, robot vacuums were known for tumbling down stairs or becoming trapped in carpets. Fortunately, advancements in software and hardware have largely eliminated these issues and enabled robots to move in the correct direction.

Mop floors and vacuum carpets in one clean with the auto-lifting VibraRise mop. The mop lifts* automatically when a carpet is detected to prevent dragging a dirty mop across clean floors.

Clean extra deeply with a maximum suction of 5100Pa* in Max+ mode, and get maximum coverage with precision LiDAR navigation. Note, too, that while the majority of robot vacuums that can claim to ‘mop’ hard floors simply slosh water around, the S7 MaxV is capable of scrubbing as well. As such, we found it easily coped with removing tough dried-in stains such as Coca-Cola on our hard floor, as well as fresh dirt. Even better, when set to vacuuming and mopping, the robot vacuum will automatically lift the mop on detecting carpet, to avoid it becoming soggy. One of the issues that I highlighted with the S7 was that the vacuum came with only one cloth in the box; having to wash it regularly would put the robot out of mopping operation. Here, there’s practically no limit – for long periods the S7 MaxV will look after itself, and is always ready to go. Based on internal testing carried out by the manufacturer. Stains used for testing include coffee (dried for two hours and 24 hours), juice (dried for 24 hours), cola (dried for 24 hours) and mud (dried for 2 hours).

Unlike very early robot vacuums that randomly drove around your home, bouncing into walls and furniture, the S7 MaxV uses a combination of lidar, an RGB camera, and 3D structured light to map out and navigate your living area. Having a self-generated "blueprint" of your residence allows the device to calculate the most-efficient route to ensure your place is thoroughly cleaned.

There are items that can trip it up, however. I have a pet food bowl that sits on the floor on the corner of the island in the kitchen. When the robot moves around the corner, it will always hit the pet bowl; when it comes from the other way, the cameras spot and avoid it.
