Longevity is good on me, lasts through a workday, i can smell it even after 10 hours on myself after a sweaty and super hot summer day. I came to realize that I really enjoy anything that has cinnamon in it, e.g. Armani Si Intense, La Belle La Parfum intense by JBG also. Inspired by the Arabic words, ‘Latif’ for kindness and ‘Lateefa’ for pleasant, Lattafa resonates with the luxury and elegance of the Arabian culture and it vividly captures the essence of its glorious heritage in its captivating fragrance. It starts to soften and you’re left with Sheikh Al Shuyukh Luxe Edition ! To my nose. I have been wearing SAS for many years, so I’m well aware of the scent. However, where SAS Is more vanilla, this is more saffron and patchouli. My Advice: If you are not familiar with oud scents, do buy them only after trying them; I recommend Lattafa's "Blue Oud" to ALL oriental fragrance lovers due to its singularity of being semi-fresh. If you really like oriental woody fragrances, you don't even need to try it before buying it. I do believe this fragrance will conquer you with its uniqueness.
These are different, but there are some similarities with oud-vanilla. OM doesn't have the sandalwood-patchouli drydown, and is more of an oud-praline bland along the lines of Oud Bouquet Lancome, while Opulent Oud is woodier and more along the lines of Armani Prive Oud Royal. Both have powerhouse performance. Note: If you think that all Lattafas are trying to dupe another fragrance, in my opinion, this scent is quite unique and does not intend to clone anything. Then you spray it on. This was my first middle-eastern fragrance, and my first smell of anything with the word "oud" in its name. Over all I give this fragrance a ten/ten. It's really lovley,well blended,etc. It's a more wearable middle eastern Fragrance. I love, love, loooove this stuff. The spray that I do on my wrists before work really lasts me the entire shift and I can’t keep sniffing my wrist it really smells nice and that’s coming from someone who never thought would be wearing Oud.

It definitely does give off a a bit of a fabric softener type of vibe, (not the overly feminine ones) especially in the dry down. With the heart notes I get a faint animalistic nuance and some spices -residual pepper and emerging vanilla probably, thus originating a light sweet touch. Besides the woody accords, herbs are also detectable in the heart stage. In the base, the more vibrant cashemearan woody scent is overcome by the stronger oud note. I get completely different notes than what's listed albeit similar to some folks further down below. Ultimately, this is an amazing rose oud scent (on the jammy, woody side) for the money, and I highly recommend it for lovers of niche scents.
I'll start off by saying im perplexed at others labeling this as aquatic and comparing it to Invictus / Lattafa Najdia (which i own) because i don't find the same qualities here AT ALL. Goes to show how different our perceptions are yet again. Anyway, upon opening, you are bombarded with the cinnamon bark and saffron. I hated it for the first 10 seconds, it was leaning medicinal on me. The opening is very sharp and off putting. But… give it a chance to calm down and that medicinal smell will fade. These are different but this is the most similar to Opulent Oud. OR is more complex and has more of a refined feel to it. Both have well above average performance. Great stuff. This is pretty much the classic Middle Eastern oud fragrance of the type that is very popular these days-- a balance of floral, oud, smoke, and spice. It's still oud but not barnyard or overly animalic, oud that announces "I am oud" but not at the top of it's lungs, a very well balanced note. It is sweet, semi-floral (saffron definitely) and a bit spicy from the cinnamon. One of the best inexpensive oud compositions I have come across. Editing to add: My nose just supplied me an interesting bit of information-- I am pretty sure there's hedione in this. No wonder it's so intoxicating! Anyone else agree?The sillage is also remarkable. What I smell for hours is sweet smoky cinnamon with a hint of oud and amber. Sweet OUD & (SANDAL)WOOD-PATCHOULI with amazing drydown. Opens with a floral-citrus burst with patchouli, saffron & oud touches, that deepens into a caramel & amber-oud heart, all resting on a musky amber-wood base with vanilla & patchouli touches. Overall, I get a sweet oud with faint patchouli touches in the opening with a creamy sweet oud heart on a spicy-sweet & creamy (sandal)wood-patchouli base that's to die for. The drydown reminds me of other sandalwood-patchouli drydowns, although sandalwood isn't specifically listed in the notes. Fantastic performance, that might be difficult to wear in the summer heat.

Like all my Lattafas, I'll let this one rest as well for a few weeks and then will test it again in the fall on both of our skins. I'm hoping it will be less sweet and suffocating in cooler weather and the cinnamon will be less dominant. This Arabian Oud fragrance will be perfect for every occasion- birthdays, anniversaries or as a gift. Projection Power: 10 (Fills a street), 9 (fills a room), 8 (can smell from 5 meters), 7 (3 meters), 6 (within arms reach bubble), 5 (20cm from skin) Compliments: 8.0 (This fragrance it's not a compliment magnet, but it is alluring and an above-average pleaser, especially because it contains an oud note that has not been disguised by citrus, flowers, fruits and spices) For days I wondered what perfume it smelled like... It's so familiar I was sure I wore it before, loooong time ago...
These are different, but there are similarities with sweet oud. SO doesn't have the sandalwood-patchouli drydown, and is an oud-rose & praline blend along the lines of Oud Bouquet Lancome. Both have amazing performance. The fragrance comes in an EDP concentration but it has slightly less performance than other Oud fragrances crafted by Lattafa. Nevertheless, it has respectable longevity of up to 8 hours with three sprays and 5~6 feet sillage, projecting for two hours. Lattafa Opulent Oud EDP 100ml unisex Perfume For Men and Women. A fragrant, warm spicy fragrance with white flowers, amber, resin and oud. Usually, I tend to appreciate fragrances containing oud less on the opening stage and more on the base and dry-down time frame. This woody fresh scent from Lattafa contains oud and pleases me as much on the opening as on the dry down. Blue Oud is also far from being a linear fragrance; that's a plus for this unusual woody and semi-fresh perfume.

Maybe it's the patchouli I'm sensing but I haven't quite put my finger on why this comes off as so fresh and airy rather than warm and dense. Oh well, I'm not complaining.
