About this deal

The universe of Warhammer 40k always exacts a price, however, and the one that the Eldar paid for their twisted ways and pride was one they paid in blood and terror – and one that the galaxy continues to pay. Melta Bombs - Melta Bombs are portable incendiary devices utilising nuclear fusion-based Melta technology, and they are lethally effective against even heavily armoured units, as the intense directional blast of heat produced by the Melta reaction can burn its way through an armoured hull in a matter of seconds. He refused to flee when the Shrine of Asur was destroyed by Arhra, the Fallen Phoenix. He was thought dead for centuries, but reappeared to fight alongside Eldrad Ulthran at the Haranshemash ( "World of Blood and Tears"). There, he scoured a score of Daemon lords from the planet with the Fire Pike from which he later takes his name, and claimed a dozen more with his Fire Axe. Once the battle was done, Fuegan vanished into the Webway and has traveled its ancient tunnels ever since. He emerges only when it serves a noble cause. [2] The Eldar don’t just lay claim to ground warfare, through the Swooping Hawk Aspect they master aerial combat as well. Phoenix Lord Baharroth is terror-from- the-sky incarnate, descending to deal swift justice without mercy or hesitation.

Since GW has decided to give us the middle finger with overpriced Howling Banshees and whatever-it-is the Dark Eldars got, I've decided to list all the decent proxies one could find on the Internet (or at least all I know about), in case it may help someone get the minis he wants. Titan Forge : The ancient spectres range is obviously another take on Eldars. They've got Warp Spiders, Motojets and a heavy weapon. In many ways it is Fuegan who most embodies the Aspect Warriors' obsession with their deadly craft. He devotes himself completely to the systematic and total persecution of the Aeldari race's enemies, pitilessly culling them one by one until their deaths form an unbroken chain of retribution stretching across the universe. Here’s the good, and the things you need to watch out for, when you play Craftworlds Eldar in 9th edition Warhammer 40k. Many Craftworlds Eldar characters are legends not only to the Eldar, but their names strike fear into their enemies’ hearts (if they have them).

You are the hand that must cast the spear of flames. Control the dragon, channel its power, and in all things mantain absolute focus. Only the concentrated beam can penetrate, and only that which is tempered will not break. Finally, be not afraid. In the end, everything burns." The first of all Phoenix Lords, Asurmen was the founder of the Dire Avengers Aspect Path, one of the most numerous Aspects of all. He is an exemplar of precision on the battlefield, devastating enemies with his elegant approach to warfare. Dragon's Breath Flamer - The Dragon's Breath Flamer can unleash a ranging inferno upon a nearby foe. They are similar to the Heavy Flamers employed by the military forces of the Imperium of Man.If true, I'm not sure they're going to make the cut. The increased strength on their weapons is nice. The higher toughness is nice. The invuln is nice. They're still going to get shot off the board as soon as they either unload from a transport or webway strike. Not sure they're going to be worth it for the points unless they have some solid stratagem support. Dragon Head : Those aren't proxies, but they scream "Exodites". The minis are really impressive, and will be released soon. Saddly, the dragon is 54mm Fuegan established the shrine of the Fire Dragons when the Asurya spread across the galaxy to teach the Eldar the Path of the Warrior. It was his hope that the Eldar could bring harmony through selective destruction rather then oblivion as a force that could only bring discord. He is respected as a hero across many Craftworlds, often depicted holding the cosmic serpents of wisdom and entropy in his grasp. In many ways Fuegan most embodies the Aspect Warriors obsession with their deadly craft, devoting himself completely to the systematic and total destruction of the Eldar's enemies. Pitilessly destroying the enemies of the Eldar in an unbroken chain across the Galaxy, the Eldar believe that, with this chain, Fuegan intends to bind the Dragon at the end of days, mastering destruction itself. It is said that Fuegan will call together the Phoenix Lords for the Rhana Dandra, the final conflict, and that he will be the last to die. [2] Fire Dragons are the dedicated tank-and-monster hunters of the Craftworlds armies; armed with some of the most devastating weaponry in the Eldar arsenals, they train relentlessly in the practice of total destruction of their enemies. Although their duties place them in extreme danger, right at the heart of the enemy’s strongest forces, Fire Dragons have faith in the power of the Cosmic Serpent from which they take their name and battle posture- no foe, mortal or otherwise, can stand up to the forces they wield. Fire Dragons take an unbridled, savage delight in the destruction they cause, and nothing short of the complete annihilation of the enemy will satisfy these embodiments of war's capacity for wanton destruction. Fire Dragons specialise in assaulting enemy war machines and fixed fortifications, as well as rooting out heavily-armoured infantry and weapon emplacements.

We’ve seen a ton of rules rumors for the Eldar, but we haven’t seen a ton for the Fire Dragons quite yet. So, it’s good to get an idea of what they can do. Obviously, since the book isn’t out yet, these are rumors, still, they look pretty legit. Fuegan was one of the first students of Asurmen to study at the feet of the master at the Shrine of Asur, eventually losing himself upon the Path of the Warrior as an Exarch and then pursuing his own chosen combat specialties. Fuegan eventually went on and founded the Fire Dragon Aspect, schooling those Aeldari warriors who chose to follow him in the art of war with flame and a merciless appreciation for destruction, modelling his Aspect upon the dragons of Aeldari myth. Those Craftworld Aeldari who wanted to follow this new path learned at the feet of their master, and in turn they assumed the mantle of Exarchs before spreading throughout the galaxy. The first Exarchs, the Asurya, the children of Asurmen, were the greatest of his students and went on to become the Phoenix Lords of the other Aspect Shrines, the first masters of the other specialised Asuryani combat disciplines. Phoenix Armour - The legendary Phoenix Lords wear ancient, invaluable Aspect Armour so finely wrought it is proof against almost any weapon. With safety and the vast resources of the Eldar Empire, the Aeldari became insular. They ceased looking outwards for new inspiration, preferring to explore their desires and hedonistic impulses. The Eldar Empire became darker; twisted needs and terrible acts becoming commonplace as they slaked their lusts on each other and the many lesser races that populated the galaxy. This passage says that it will be Fuegan who calls all of the Aeldari Phoenix Lords for the Last Battle, the Rhana Dandra, and the Burning Lance will be the last of his brethren to die in that conflict, when the footsteps of Daemon kings and demigods shake the galaxy, resulting in the final death of the Aeldari race and their gods alike, as the price for the elimination of Chaos within the Immaterium.
