Over the past 6+ months, my family and I have been running some real-life tests of the JetKids by Stokke CloudSleeper.

The CloudSleeper has found a semi-permanent home in the kids’ bedroom and gets pumped up when friends or cousins sleep over, or even when we are watching a movie at home. We have also taken it to a handful of hotels and international trips to see if it was worth the space it takes up in the luggage — and it was worth it. Castlery has a number of cool and comfy couches, but this sofa is one of its most modern designs. While the boxy low-profile silhouette gives a contemporary vibe, it still has that cozy, cloud-like feel. Its cool shape provides a chaise side, and the couch arm has a pillow-like texture. A removable fitted sheet features mesh cover top side, which is nice to child's body and adds thermo-regulating properties for better sleeping comfort. The bottom side of the cover is made of water repellent fabric that protect the mattress from dirt and provides good insulation from the floor or ground. Once inflated the bed measures 150 x 75 x 17cm and so from my research I would expect it to accommodate a young child comfortably up to the age of about 10. Stokke state the weight limit is up to 68 kg so its use is likely to be limited by the height of the child rather than their weight. The safety warnings state this should not be used by children less than 3 due to a risk of suffocation and so this is important to bear in mind if thinking it would be appropriate for a toddler who has just transitioned from a cot to a bed. The products generous size however means it has a good shelf life and providing it stands up to usual ‘wear and tear’ I would hope it can be used for many years of travel trips and family holidays.As with all JetKids products, there is a 14-day return window for items that have not been used.
