About this deal

The story is told from all 4 MCs POVs and I have to admit that I was a bit confused about who is which triplet in the beginning.

They've reigned as the Terror Triplets, using cruelty and intimidation to rule New York City society. Now they face a bigger challenge: the reclusive heiress Laundry Croft. It is their job to work their way into her life. They need to make her trust them. Even while they keep their own secrets. Each man uses her in his own way. They seduce her and manipulate her....but will they fall in love? That was such a fun and wild ride! I really loved the concept of the FMC falling for one guy, but that guy ends up being triplets. The fact that she can tell them all apart, but has absolutely no clue and thinks (they) have DID was quite hilarious. They really are so different and I love how that plays into the storyline so well.Oh goodness I laughed so hard with their antics. They gave me so much delight. They also have the story some lightheartedness. Now when I knew that she was actually giving them a story??? Omggg.. I went crazy. I have been waiting for this book for like ever 🔥 This book by her is officially my favorite read. The ending had me physically folded in agony because holy hell I need the next book!! That cliffhanger 🔥🔥🔥🔥 The terror triplets are so much more than you can expect and I loved seeing a more insight to thek in this book. I am so freaking grateful to her for giving them a story because they deserve it! My heart was absolutely broken for Landry. She’s smart, intelligent, and fierce, yet so utterly broken. While she may appear to have everything she could ever want from the outside, all she truly desired was for her and Della to be safe from the abuse they endured at the hands of their father. I had a hard time stomaching some of the dialogue with their father and found myself thankful that despite Della still knowing what was happening, she thankfully couldn’t hear most of the cruel words said to her. I loved how protective Landry was of her and was so grateful that they had each other when all else failed. I am a huge fan of K. Webster books. She is know for very taboo tropes/romances and this is exactly what this is. This was a really good read! Here we have three triplet alpha-holes who get put on a job to get close to Landry, the daughter of a tyrant billionaire, who is verbally, physically and sexually abusive to his daughters but they all three end up falling for her. The things these three do and say OMG! There are no limits to what they would do for her especially one triplet and you could not hate him for it! This one does leave you on a cliff hanger but so worth it the read! basically, throughout the whole book, the dad is very abusive with laundry's lil sis who is deaf, but he loves laundry. the deaf sis, della, is 6 years old and the mom died giving birth to her. basically, laundry is very protective over her. the dad out of nowhere starts being abusive with laundry bc he wants to marry her off. this isn't the weird part.

Now I will say, you really have to suspend reality on this one on a few things. And I get that hindsight is 20/20 and all, but it was like 40/40 here for Landry when she learned certain truths and seemed to be like a bit too much of a jump.I started the book not knowing that this is a spin-off to another series so you can expect my confusion while reading this. And thus, I feel like something was missing and couldn't find myself connected much to the characters (mostly the triplet) since the reason they spread into Croft World was to seek retribution for what Winston did to them. I’m not new to the word wizardry that is K Webster. I have read a good number of stories written by her with all kinds of themes and tropes and every time I read a new one, I fall a little bit more in love with her brain. It is spectacular how she can take a story where you pretty much already know the darkness yet make you completely apprehensive and #twitchy getting there! She is a master at her craft, and she does it repeatedly with all her stories! Caramel macchiato.” I flash her a taunting grin. “Since you’re salty all the time, I figure you might like something sweet.” Landry may come from a rich family, but she lives in terror because of her abusive father. She wants to escape but she stays for her younger, deaf sister to protect her. Landry has never gotten close to anyone but she finds solace in a new, gorgeous classmate named Ford... who at times seems like he has a split personality.

Webster’s Cinderella Trilogy completely captivated me, so I was eager to read her Deception Duet and it exceeded my expectations. This explosive dark romance was filled with secrets, steamy scenes, along with twists and turns to keep you reading until the very end! Safety: well, it's RH... so technically, there is no cheating. Landry is passed around without her knowledge but she sure loves it! The heroine: Landry Croft - she lives in a gilded cage. Landry is the perfect daughter of tech billionaire Alexander Croft. Her mother died not long after giving birth to her 6 year old sister Della, who is deaf. Landry tries to take care of Della as much as possible. Overall, I recommend this duet to all of my dark romance lovers. This duet will take you on quite a ride.Gah! Poor Della! I just wanted to wrap her up and hide her away. The absolute wtf about the cards dealt to her just broke my heart.

Reverse harem being one of my most read themes of dark romance, I expected these two books to be good but I honestly caught no head or tail. I couldn’t feel the chemistry between them and it felt too draggy to read sometimes although the book itself was not long. They were supposed to be a family but I was more confused about their family dynamics then their actual connection. Is it wrong that Scout the psycho is my favorite? All three of them bring something different snd have a dark side. I believe that Scout’s dark side sings with Landry’s. That bathroom scene was hot. 🥵 I really enjoyed this book and the way the brothers each dove into Landry’s life in different ways. It was very original and I liked them despite the fact that they are not good guys. They make very likable villains. I also liked the fact that they were still villains or anti-hero’s since they were so bad in Skyscraper Cinderella it wouldnt have been believable for them to just change into Hero’s in this book. The cliffhanger is a good one and I can’t wait to read more. I shouldn’t have doubted K. Webster because Triple Threat was so good! It’s a reverse harem romance with a heroine and three identical triplet heroes. The Mannford boys have grown up now and they’re not as spoiled and bratty. Sparrow, Scout, and Sully kind of work for the mafia but all they want to do is escape so they can live their own lives. Their uncle gives them one last assignment before they can be free – dupe the daughter of a tech billionaire into believing they’re one man and get close to her so they can find out her father’s secrets.I couldn't believe when K. Webster announced she would be writing a romance for the Terror Triplets from the Cinderella Trilogy. They were nasty, spoiled bullies – but was I still going to read their book? Absolutely. Starting off with the first book, Triple Threat, we are introduced to media heiress Landry Croft. Having grown up surrounded by wealth and privilege, Landry has been groomed to be everything her dad demands her to be. Though nothing is what it seems, behind the perfect facade that’s supposed to be her life, darkness lurks filled with secrets and nightmares. Landry is a pretty doll living in a golden cage, but she has a plan to leave her life once and for all. Yet, she what wasn’t expecting for her plans to take a different turn the minute she meets, Ford Mann. He is everywhere she goes, and although she senses something off about him, Landry can’t help but to trust him fully. The attraction is there and the more time she spends with him, the more she yearns for her live to be different. It would take for her life to be at stake for her to truly find out what Ford has been keeping from her all along.
