The writing is seriously amazing, the book is beautifully paced and Amber wrote phenomenal world building and magic system. That relationship is central to the story and is a main driver behind much of Dianna’s actions and the plot of the story. I just couldn't decide if I liked Dianna or Liam more, but then I said fuck it, and cheered in bi, going for both.

The situations she found herself in were near-impossible to escape, yet she dealt with them in the best ways she knew. I loved the whole book, it was a little slow in the begging though still packed with action begging ingredients to end. liam barely understands modern language since he isolated himself, so the exchanges between them both was fun to read!
