The description at the back also made me interested although when I started reading it I found it majorly slow. However, since plot development is crucial to the story, I'll be keeping this review on the shorter and less detailed side of things so as not to give too much of anything away. Much as I'm reluctant to resort to book-marketing cliches, Little Darlings really feels like it could be the thriller of the summer; I've already witnessed some buzzing about it on social media.

While there, a strange woman accosts her and says she is going to trade Lauren's children for her own fish-like offspring. Since we have Lauren's perspective, we are able to follow along firsthand with what's happening and experience exactly what Lauren sees. As a word of caution, if you're sensitive to children in danger, traumatic childbirth scenarios, or anything involving children, really, then keep in mind that this plays with those element quite a bit--it is a story centered around changelings, after all.

Her mum is a beautiful ex-model, her dad is a world-famous rock star and her little siblings are celebrities! Keep your eyes peeled for more by this author, because I’m expecting amazing books in the future, if Little Darlings is anything to go by.
