You're telling me they could not add any new features or a change of skin, psp is more then capable of handling that. All the posts above that say you can't view this in 2D, can't offer players to other clubs, fining players, no player unrest, no players asking to be transferred etc are talking crap!

Great seller, quick processing, item as described, great condition, easy communication, pleasant transaction. Plenty of FM-era features make it into the mix, though, with full media involvement, including transfer rumours, accurate player histories, five speed-settings during matches, full tactical control, agent approaches and player unrest, injury diagnosis and feedback, staff feedback, data accurate to the January transfer window (barring loans, we're told) not to mention the same excellent transfer/contract negotiation system that we're all used to. Dozens of formations, team tactics, player tactics but it just seems something undefinable is missing.

Compared to the PC version it is nigh-on impossible to look at a player and decide that they'll be good.

And the main point to note is SI make the game they are in no-way responsible for its pricing that is all Sony. Each season seems to run along the same lines - moulding the team in to something that works by May, only to be back to square one come August. I have got an xbox but started getting bored of lma manager and decided to get a manager game for psp.Not exactly ideal for the fans but there isn't anything they can do as for the "poor sales on PSP" well that is why they released a repackaged version as there was good sales and the PSP console is losing its audience anyway so the sales would have gone down from when it hit its peak in 2007-2009. On the bright side, football manager for ps vita looks great will definitely pick it up for my vita . If only we could use all those dead hours during the week and could play it on the way to work or during lunch breaks, Ragbag Rovers would be kings of Europe by now. As a result this cruel denial of our FM fix nags away, forever reminding us that a manager's work is never done.

The shoulder buttons, meanwhile, act as 'back' and 'next', and within minutes the general navigation becomes almost as easy as the full game. A small reduction in the number of stats, the removal of superfluous graphics like club badges, and the super-sharp quality of the widescreen PSP display makes it possible to still cram in tons of detailed information with very little in the way of compromise.Continuing improvements to the 3D match engine also help drag it kicking and screaming into the present, although it's still a long way short of FIFA Manager in that regard.

The same solid handheld principles apply to the iOS version, with the ability to 'manage' squad selection and tactics on a fairly superficial level if you wish and up to four active nations running at once (from a choice of 12). There's still a ridiculous amount of depth, but it's much more apparent where the basic fundamentals are these days. If you're an out-of-work footy manager and you're jonesing for some action, this is as close to the real thing as getting flecked with spittle by an irate Ken Bates after a 6-0 reverse to your local rivals.
