I don't see the similarities with Black Afgano or Oud Wood, which I both own and prefer to the Gucci. I do notice with each batch sometimes when I spray it lasts longer than others - I don’t have an explanation for this it could be ol factory fatigue. I personally think this smells superior to black afgano as it’s more refined and deep without the ‘dirt’ and grunge smell I get from afgano. There is something fruity in the opening that is really nice and I don't see it listed here on the notes.

What I can say though that this is such a nice oud fragrance, almost perfect for the Western world where too much Oud can be cloying. I can see why Black Afgano has been mentioned here, the vibe is there, but they are overall different scents.I just bought a new one with one batch code, it's really weak in comparison to the old ones as it has weak oud and weak incense. I recommend you try that if you like this DNA, but want something that is less expensive and lasts longer. It smells gorgeous to my nose and the oud was sooo smooth and masculine, perfect for appropriate occasions. So maybe that explains some of it and that it need more sprays to get a similar amount as some others.

I would say this is a cooler to cold weather scent, and I think you could pull it off in the office in you went light on the trigger. I won't say this is the best designer oud out there because i haven't smell quite a few, such as Polo Supreme Oud and Versace Oud Noir.

The 90ml spray bottle offers a generous supply of this enchanting fragrance, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in its allure. I have the 2022 (july) batch and I can't compare it to previous batches, but the fragrance is very powerful and lasts long.

Despite the name "intense oud" I find this to be a very classy, easygoing oud-incense designer style scent. After I used it for the first time, I let it age for about six months and its scent improved a lot, but its performance improved only slightly. It always lasts for so long and unless you really scrub hard in the shower, it's gonna stick around and you'll smell it.What most conglomerates will do is, once a fragrance has solid footprint in the market, they'll tinker around with it and try to create a "clone.

Local hangouts accompanied with smells of gasoline/diesel or cozy environments with friends and comfortable drinks alike would be welcome alongside this scent. Can still smell this on clothes 8 hours later, however with my experience, i think this stops projecting after 4 hours or so.
