I have come from a monitor that was 100 pounds more and I see no difference in my gaming scores in COD etc. Colors look better on the AOC because it displays a wider color gamut and has better out-of-the-box accuracy, but the latter may vary between units. You can also download the AOC G-Menu desktop application and manage all your settings there instead. The speakers aren't great, but are bearable - in the menu they're set to 50% by default so definitely crank it up to 100% and adjust volume in your operating system instead. There are two additional models with the ‘U’ suffix: the AOC 24G2U and the AOC 27G2U which feature a quad-USB 3.

Build is pretty damn good for a budget monitor, mostly plastic but very sturdy, legs of monitor well designed and don't take up much space on desktop. Due to panel shortage, AOC had switched from using a Panda panel to a BOE panel briefly in 2020, but they seem to have resumed using the Panda panel, which is what our unit has.
