A few weeks ago I ventured into Boots to pick up one of the new Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit’s after hearing about them on their Instagram page. In 4 gorgeous, statement shades, its non-drying, ultra-long wearing formula is easy to apply and will leave lips with a gorgeously bold finish!In the end we both agreed that they do have some sort of creamy sweet scent mixed with a slight chemical scent… This being said they’re pretty scentless when applying to the lips and when I say chemical, I don’t mean in your face. This high-shine kit comes with two complementary lip shades in 24 Carat for a lasting metallic finish. It doesn’t glide onto the lips and does have a bit of drag but I think that’s good, it’s this slight dryness that allows it to stay on the lips and it’s not so dry as some other lip liners I’ve tried.

It did however accentuate some chapping on my lips that I didn’t even know was there but all liquid lipsticks do that!
