About this deal
A follow up to MJ Cullinane's bestselling Crow Tarot, this oracle deck offers readers a way to connect and learn from these highly intelligent, captivating birds. Crows create bonds, have rules, understand justice ( a little too well for some,) and at times display a sense of humor that other animals lack. I love the simplicity of one word on the card face and the brief but thoughtful card explanations in the book. While creating the artwork for The Guardian of the Night I found comfort, inspiration, and at times emotions that needed to surface.

One of their most enduring traits is known as "Gifting" - leaving behind trinkets like keys, coins, beads or ear-rings believed by many as tokens of appreciation. Although the idea, the seed for the Guardian of the Night, was planted in my brain nearly a year before I created the first card (The Hermit), it wasn’t until late Winter of 2020 that the feelings and emotions connected with this deck surfaced. In their book, they dive into crow behavior and how these incredibly smart birds behave like humans. I created these additional cards to help you dive deeper into your situation so that you can identify hidden or over-looked areas in need of attention. When she is not making art or writing, MJ is spending time with her child, playing in nature, practicing magic, and finding new sources of inspiration.

Their perceptiveness and resourcefulness allow them to flourish in forests, towns and even cities alongside us. Her work often merges the two worlds Her path into the world of Tarot was a beautiful accident that came out of a difficult time in her life.Inspired by the symbolism of Rider-Waite, these 78 vibrant tarot cards help connect us to the wisdom and intuition that dogs are eager to share with us. I say this not from only my own experiences, but from what I see others post on Instagram/Facebook as well.
