About this deal

It helps not to expect too much more than that, particularly when it comes to the show’s lavish employment of archetypes, which inevitably leads to its more questionable elements.

This attracts the attention of Luke Aikens, a powerful crime lord and another member of the conspiracy. Mohammed Al Fayed - (always refereed to as "Mr Fayed") has not only accused his former employee of dereliction of duty, but of being part of a conspiracy - with, among others, Prince Philip - to murder Dodi and Diana. However, the idea that Rees-Jones holds the key to what happened during the early hours of August 31st, 1997, is less easy to dispel.

As significant numbers of viewers watched the show on catchup service iPlayer after transmission, the series sparked a debate on how the media should handle spoilers. Bodyguard is a British political thriller television series created and written by Jed Mercurio and produced by World Productions as part of ITV Studios for the BBC. After Aikens and Craddock are arrested, Craddock confesses to leaking Montague's movements and enabling her assassination. Stephanie Hyam as Chanel Dyson, the PR Advisor to the Home Secretary before getting fired by Montague. A few days after Nicki's funeral is the Academy Awards ceremony, where she is nominated as best actress.Frank's dad, Herb Farmer (Ralph Waite) is a semi-retired attorney who welcomes the group to his home. The Bodyguard's Story tells the story of the summer leading up to the fatal accident; as Rees-Jones, speaking openly for the first time, describes a world of extreme wealth, paparazzi-dodging and the increasingly volatile situation between the press, Dodi, Diana and their minders as the summer dragged on. Subsequently, and possibly as a result of his protection and the trust thus inspired, Rachel Marron falls in love with Frank, and, though he tries to keep their relationship professional, they sleep together.

Radio Times revealed the fate of Montague in a cover story during the series's original transmission. His wartime experiences have left him struggling with PTSD, prone to volatile behaviour, and mistrustful of politicians. Cool again, he turns back to the stage, seeking an alternative escape route, camera still providing cover.

In a more mixed assessment, Robert Lloyd of the Los Angeles Times wrote that "Some elements of the series struck me as odd. It is then revealed that Rachel's obsessive stalker and the person trying to kill her are not the same person, when an upset and drunken Nikki admits that in a drug-induced jealous fit she hired a hitman to kill Rachel, but that the letters from the stalker came before that. Assigned to protect Julia Montague, whose politics he loathes, Budd is conflicted over his loyalties.

Each performance features her singing a song (including Houston's hits I Will Always Love You and I Have Nothing) that reflects her emotional state. He adds: "That film in two hours 30 minutes, encapsulated what had been then, six years of our life. However, the lengths "the Boss" was prepared to use to get Rees-Jones to subscribe to his conspiracy-of-the-century view of what happened make chilling reading. Almost seven million viewers saw Dereham's heritage railway station in the opening scenes of Bodyguard on Sunday evening. A chaos of press and public, ambulance and police lights flashing, "SIRENS WAILING, ANGLE ON PART OF CROWD".
