As a cheerleader, Jade's outfit consists of a long sleeved, white bolero hoodie covered in the word "RAINBOW" in stylized, black font. Her appearance is similar to Blue Skye's appearance from the similar franchise Rainbow Surprise; because of this, she might be inspired by Blue Skye. Like most of her friends, Skyler was rather awkward and uncomfortable around Amaya when she first came to Rainbow High, seeing her as Bella's replacement.Jade apologizes and says she will try to be nicer, though it will take a while for them to become true friends. For Jade's first Winter Break outfit, Jade has a tight black and white long sleeve shirt that she wears under her apple green overalls that have tons of details and pockets and small "Sparkle" logos written on them.

She gives advice to Ruby so she can afford the shoes she wants, and reveals that the cafe at The Rainbow Union is hiring.

When dressing more casually, Bella wears a white t-shirt under a pink vinyl bustier top and pink high-waisted skinny jeans. After more talking, Bella begins revealing how she came back to Rainbow High, not without being interrupted many times. Jade and her friends are later invited to attend the special Color Block Party hosted by The A's and to get a sneak peek at Avery's collection.

Bella appears to dislike her, especially when she says her best work is somewhere between basic and mediocre. Starting out as just roommates, they quickly grew a strong friendship, playing off of each other very well. Due to Skyler's timid nature, she greatly clashes with Gabriella's large ego and snarky personality, despite having a similar major. Moving right from the previous episode, Jade and her friends all try to save Poppy, with Jade in particular finding and grabbing Sunny and Violet's skis, having Skyler tie them together and use them to reach Poppy.Skyler and Ruby start off as casual friends, however they become very bonded after Skyler discovers that Colin is going out with Ruby behind her back. Skyler and Bella were close friends, often bonding over their love of art and their more timid natures. Skyler is another exciting talent at Rainbow High, but she's not quite ready to share her work with the world.
