About this deal

In 2011, the product gained Fairtrade accreditation in the UK and Ireland by sourcing all their cocoa and sugar under Fairtrade Terms. Even though I always knew Maltesers were a pretty fabulous chocolate treat, I've been really overwhelmed by how much you all loved my Maltesers Fudge recipe and how many of you made it. However, if you'd prefer to make it in a smaller 9" square tin, check the recipe card notes section for details on how to change the measurements and baking time.

This Malteser Cheesecake has a creamy and silky smooth malt filling with chunks of crushed Maltesers in every single mouthful. Hi Lydia, you can mix Malteser balls into the filling if you like, but I found that the middle crunchy bit does not cope well with all the moisture from the filling and disintegrates. If you want to use a 9" (23cm) square tin, I recommend increasing the ingredients by 25% to retain the thickness.Traditionally launched with a malt centre and a milk chocolate outer layer, there are now more flavours and variations in the Maltesers range than ever before. I have made many a cheesecake in a springform tin which gives a larger diameter but flatter cheesecake.

I made a batch of crunchy rocky road at the weekend, but I didn't get chance to photograph it because my friends and family scoffed it too fast! The Maltesers Teasers Chocolate Bars offer the same thrill as the smaller versions found in Celebrations – in a welcome bigger portion! Rocky road slices fairly easily as the addition of butter and golden syrup makes the chocolate soft enough to slice through. I used light brown soft sugar for the cake, but caster sugar and dark brown sugar (or a combination) will both work if you prefer. A couple of weeks ago my oldest and dearest friend invited me around to her grandmother's house clearance. It's an easy no bake chocolate treat, packed with malted milk biscuits, marshmallows and Maltesers of course. Granted it should always be served in small portions for all but the sweetest of toothed people, but on first bite this Biscoff bar manages to garner plenty of compliments. If you can't get hold of the Maltesers Teasers, or don't want to use them, you can use melted milk chocolate instead for the cheesecake filling.

If you can't get hold of it, light corn syrup or glucose syrup are the closest things to it, however I've not tested this recipe with them. For decoration, you will need to use a gluten free alternative to Maltesers, such as Schar's Delishios. So, we thought it only appropriate to find a few recipes that celebrate those lovely little balls in all their malted glory. Please do check the labels for everything you use to make the cake if you are serving it to someone with an allergy or intolerance. Ive never made a malteser rocky road or even any other bake with malteser which is strange as i do rather love them. I could very happily tuck into this one, so if i get a chance to make one this year I shall try this one as it looks so scrummy. For this recipe, you will need: Dark chocolate Hobnobs, butter, cream cheese, double cream, icing sugar, vanilla extract, malt powder and Maltesers.
