I watched the 2 Towers extended version from this set yesterday and did not spot anything different from what I had seen from other collections of this film. This means the image quality isn’t high, but that can be overlooked because the discussions are fun, lively, and engaging, featuring interesting stories and memories of the productions.Given the trilogy, this will just turn out to be like the MoS thread, so I'm just going to casually save up and come back in approximately two years time when it's available. Add in a load more location-hopping, and along the way, there’s clearly a spark between Arondir ( Ismael Cruz Cordova) and Bronwyn ( Nazanin Boniadi), while Robert Aramayo – as Elrond – acts like an even more miserable Colin Firth, a bunch of strong – and faked – Manchester and Yorkshire accents, a trip on a ship, and I had absolutely no idea what was going on.Now… much has been made (particularly in certain quarters of the Internet) of the fact that Peter Jackson has employed a bit of Digital Noise Reduction (when working on the new LOTR 4K remasters) to reduce photochemical grain slightly to conform the films more to the look his recent (and digitally-captured) Hobbit films—something I noted in my original 4K reviews. In fact, to my eyes, quite the reverse is often true (again, it varies a little bit from scene to scene). It has a great unique case and the 4K disc cases are excellent and the 4Kdisc give an excellent sight and sound.
