I have been reading James Patterson books for many years and my favourite are those with Alex Cross and his partner John Samson. Detective Alex Cross is pulled out of a family celebration and given the awful news that a beloved relative has been found brutally murdered.

And I think I have actually read the majority - not 100% sure as I started reading them way before book logging and reviewing became a thing in my life. LIES:Lindsay Boxer's estranged father is gunned down execution-style, and her investigation uncovers life-altering truths. I have always been convinced that Alex Cross series is the best of James Patterson’s numerous creations—not the least because it is his own and not collaborated with anyone else—and Triple Cross, the thirtieth outing of the Psychologist crime-solver, reinforces my conviction yet again! As Cross investigates so does a best-selling True Crime author who has made his name writing books about murders that his insights have helped Police solve. C. bomb threat, the Women's Murder Club investigates a millionaire's death, and Michael Bennett hunts down a Thanksgiving Parade attacker in this collection of detective novels. We also have an author, one of true crime rather than fiction, who has assisted in cases before, pointing out things that the cops have missed. Bree, amongst other things, is tracking down cases of exploiting young men and women to make money to rescue a failing fashion business. As she makes headway in her assignment, people connected to the case start to die violent deaths and Bree begins to feel like a mere tool in the hands of someone powerful, with a much deeper agenda. A fast moving story with many twists and turns which keeps you engaged from the beginning to the end. Fast paced and many twists, Patterson is back to doing what he does best, writing on his own and keeping us on the edge of our seats!

First, you’ll read about the RUFF time Junior had when his pet humans went on a trip and left Junior behind in a FUR-RAISING place.
