About this deal

Again, it was frustrating and that's not a feeling I enjoy so it did take away from the story at times. Once they get married, they will be required to live together, and it will be impossible to ignore the tension that develops between them as a result of this circumstance. The way Declan’s danced with his niece and the way his brother in law Cade is a mafia millionaire and how he helps Declan get revenge for everly is cute. Now a couple of months into marriage and you learn there are stipulations that you need to comply with, or else everything you’ve sacrificed is completely null and void, but it determines who and what controls your body.

At first, it seemed as though it was the sort of conflict that should’ve been saved until the climax. The only thing that links us together is the fact that both of our names are contained in the will that was written by my father. Carl did this just so that everly doesn’t end up with Wes and obviously she wasn’t happy but to protect her mother who loves her studio she agrees and so does Declan to protect his company and they're both bound by a marriage of convenience.I would recommend this book and author to anyone who likes reading stories with strong female protagonists and alpha males who are willing to give up everything for their partners. I’m so utterly disappointed because this book sounded so interesting…and it didn’t deliver any of that. While she’s not writing, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes Doc G, Liv, and Gray Gray, as well as the family’s renegade golden retriever. That and these two lovebirds are possibly the most STUBBORN characters I’ve read in while (usually it’s one or the other alternating through, but these two? So in Declan’s mind, his way of caring for her would be to let her lose control when it comes to him.

That being said Evie and Declan are forced together when her fathers will inists they get married to get their inheritance.

But…despite all of this, clearly, the author did something right because I am just dying to read Clara and Dom’s book.

As long as you’re looking for a love story and good spice and not taking the overall plot too seriously though, I think this is worth the read. She should've atleast grown a spine and fought for her right especially when she knew that those bitches were so horrible. The plot revolved around Declan demanding Evie do something, her not doing it, and them arguing about it until they end up sleeping together. he would be a dead man 😌 i wonder why she wouldn’t want to tell you when she thought you were having a baby with her sister …. This is done so that Declan can keep his companies and Everly can keep something that is very important to her.AN-Y-Way, that would be my only issue is that as you read you continue to be introduced to several other characters that have books of their own by the author. I mean I get how his ex was good at her job and blah blah blah but how stupid is that you continue to let her run your PR even if you know that she wants to tarnish your marriage. Also, it is said in Evie's statement of her past trauma that she was assaulted but it wasn't just assault, it was rape.

This is a story about Everly who is the daughter of a very rich businessman but hasn’t lived with her dad since he left them and married a women with two daughters when she was just a little girl. As the bickering continues between Declan and Everly who she only sees as her dads business partner Declan can’t get Everly out his head until Everly’s father Carl passes away and in his Will states that for Declan to get Majority shares he must marry everly for 1 year and if they don’t get married then he would give his shares to a random company and Everly’s mother house and studio would go to his current wife and daughters.

I personally love the marriage of convenience trope and absolutely swoon when that first “my wife” is uttered. It got to a point that it became nothing more than a frustration and the back and forth they had going on that led to some very intense moments just went on a little too long for me I think? It is divided by genres, and includes folders for writing resources, book websit This group is dedicated to connecting readers with Goodreads authors. He should’ve groveled way more than he did for making Evie feel the way he did about just about everything, but especially the Anastasia ordeal at the end of the story. So many characters behaved in ways that made them impossible to like and difficult to understand why they would do certain things.
