The sale of all new pure-diesel vehicles will be banned from 2035, this includes cars and vans, with lorries being phased out. However, sales of used diesel cars will still be allowed beyond 2035. When will petrol cars be banned? Another is for classics to run on e-fuels, which are carbon neutral when produced using renewable energy.
