About this deal

While the comfort level of the Orchestra Lite is generally good, the bulky size may not be suitable for people with extra-small ears, which is a minor downside that does not impact the overall performance.

Complex passages could be problematic from time to time, especially if you’re using a source inferior to the Topping G5. However, there are no alternatives at this price point that could compete with the Orchestra Lite. If you’re listening to a lot of songs that require an a-plus PRaT you might need to raise your budget. soundstage average . if i use x-space on ifi zen can it widens that help me to have a holographic effect .

So in the end, the bass and treble performance are superior on the Performer5 and that alone should make the decision easier for many. However, those who need a more relaxing presentation with a better sense of atmosphere (due to superior staging and imaging) might find the Orchestra Lite more appealing. Just keep in mind that they would not excite you as much. Woah! Nice Clam Chowder!! Good soup. Ah this clam isn’t properly treated… I feel some sands and plankton inside clam’s intestines remained…” This one’s easy: the mids on these IEMs were outstanding. From the moment I started playing music through them, the Orchestras demonstrated how effectively Kiwi Ears has tuned these to meet their target audience. I’ve not heard better mids on a pair of IEMs to-date. They’re a little forward of neutral, but subtly so, and enabled me to enjoy all the rich detail in my music. It’s exactly my experience with high/low mix. I will end up C-tier final impression even if the basement is solid. Straight away, this is a pair of IEMs that will divide opinion, and if possible, I’d advise hearing them before making a commitment, if you can. Overall, I’d have to agree with Kiwi Ears marketing of these as targeting studio engineers and musicians. Their design goal appears to be accuracy above all else, and if I had to sum up the sound signature, I’d go with ‘beautifully balanced and highly revealing’.

Azla SednaEarfit Light - The stage opened out while the imaging and resolution felt about the same after listening to Orchestra through these eartips. There was a trace of airiness and extension in the treble, along with a small amount of sibilance. While remaining in the same location, the mid-range appeared slightly less forward. Instead of a punchier approach, the bass had a more poofy impact. Yet, using these eartips was a truly beautiful experience when listening to classical music or blues. The silver-plated copper (SPC) cable is supple, easy to handle, and free of tangling or microphonic issues. It has a straight 3.5mm plug and a lightweight aluminium Y-splitter with a clear plastic chin slider. Sound Using our custom drivers, the Kiwi Orchestra Lite features two custom ultra tweeters for the treble, four custom midrange balanced armature drivers for the mids, and two large subwoofer drivers for the lows. I paired these iems with Moondrop Moonriver Ti 2 and I can say they do definitely sound so much better than any iem that I have or have owned before. The quality of the sound, the texture, clarity and tonality are very apparent and noticeable to me. They are very comfortable to wear and lightweight. The cable does not produce any noticeable microphonic noise and has 3 types of connection, 3.5 single ended, 4.4mm and 2.5mm balanced connector. When it comes to the sound signature, the Orchestra Lite is well-balanced and neutral. While it may not be the most thrilling performer, it has an accurate tone and timbre. This makes it an excellent choice for musicians and audio engineers who require a flat response without any colouration.

Amps/DACs: FiiO E17K Alpen 2, Woo Audio 3, Sony TA-ZH1ES, Schiit Asgard, Cambridge Audio DACMagic Plus, Shanling UA3, PENON TAIL DAC/AMP KIWI Ears Orchestra Lite vs Xenns Mangird Tea 2 (249 USD vs 349 USD) – Starting with he comfort, the overall build and design is very similar, and I feel both IEMs are made just as well, neither doesn’t have driver flex or any kind of problems I can mention. The default cable is somewhat better on the Mangird Tea 2. The sound is much more natural in the midrange for Mangird Tea 2, but Orchestra Lite has a better resolution and detail level, being more aggressive in the treble at the same time. The bass, especially at loud volumes, is similar, and they bothy exhibit similar bass, in both quantity and character, the biggest difference being that Tea 2 is more mid centric, has a more relaxed treble, and is more natural in the treble, the tonality being more natural. Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite showers you with more detail and sounds cleaner, more capable technically, and it is a better IEM if you’re a detail addict. The cable stands out far more than the IEMs themselves! Its copper color really pops and will be the first thing anyone notices. It’s a beautifully constructed cable that I found to be reasonably pliable, and with no memory. Although it is a little heavy over the ears, and sensitive to movement while listening. The cable is terminated in a regular 3.5mm plug, and there’s a velcro strap to help with bundling the cable to put in the case. Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite's low frequencies are almost balanced with the midrange on presence or slightly weaker. Customers are to bear the consequences and fees incurred, if the parcel was undelivered due to any of the following situation:Let's get to my opinions on the sound, I have used a variety of devices including but not limited to my ifi Gryphon, Tempotech V6, Dethonray SG1, TRI TK-2, Questyle M15, Aune S1X, SMSL SP200, and Hidizs XO. Music in formats from High MP3 to DSD. BAs are the fastest way to hear your music. Due to their very methodology they can provide a new and different tone. Yet with-in this tone is a faster take-off and a faster note fall-off. BAs always have a slight metallic “tone-color” which is simply a make-up of how they produce music, there is no avoiding it. What is accomplished nowadays is better tone-color. They do this maybe a few different ways, one is that this tone color is a single greatest concern in making new BA drivers…..they know this is something they need to work on to push the new inventions of balanced armatures forward. The second way they maybe do it is through tuning, which means that the FR is distributed to such an extant as the metallic sheen is diminished before it even gets started. So you will kind-of hear the way they get it diminished by playing the treble more subdued. Often the case will be with Hybrids is they will blend the treble and almost bury the metallic tone. Here though the over-all tone is really good, it has to be because it’s out-in-the-open…..so to speak.
