Ravynne has embraced a very integral form of treatment - a regimen of supplements to combat nutritional deficits, cognitive behaviour therapy, mindfulness, meditation, structured routine, healthy work ethic, diet, and sleep patterns - but, life can throw curveballs on occassion and when she split from her long-time partner in 2015, the stress of the split, finishing the Dreams of Gaia Tarot and several other projects resulted in another minor episode in early 2016, confirming the diagnosis of Bipolar. At this time, Ravynne is looking after herself and recovering well.

The Dreams of Gaia Tarot has been created to help the Seeker connect with their higher self as well as locate and begin the process of integration and healing past experiences which may be preventing one from achieving their fullest potential. It is guided by four principles – To Seek, To Feel, To Grow, To Heal. The major arcana is divided into four sub-sections: The choice card, eight cards representing the stages of life, eight cards representing the reasons for being(what we are here to achieve and why we are here), and eight cards representing influence(things that affect and impact the way that we make choices.) The Minor Arcana The Dreams of Gaia Tarot is for those who desire unity within themselves, their relationships, and with heaven and earth. It is for those who wish to explore, and develop a keener understanding of “self,” as well as those who seek to commune with the spirit realms and the Divine. The print quality is outstanding, the images are clear with crisp lines and the gorgeous colours positively glow. By offering structure in the form of a major and minor arcana like that of past tarots, but combining them with bold new archetypes, symbology, and meanings more suited to the present, the Dreams of Gaia Tarot allows for a more personal, intimate, and effective system for using cards as a roadmap to navigate your life path. In 2011, Michele-lee became Ravynne to celebrate and honour the magical path she has walked in service to Gaia and Great Spirit, and to mark the end of her battle with depression. At the time she believed her hurts to have been healed as she moved forward with lighter step and joy in her heart. As you can see, it makes for an interesting approach and one that becomes easier to understand once you see the groupings. I think this section can be used as you see fit. There is some really good stuff to be found under this heading that might be missed if you ignore this section because you don’t read reversals. As you may have guessed, I don’t read with them. If you do I respect that and I would encourage everyone to read however works for you. That should be a given. Inside the sphere is the cosmos. Sitting atop the sphere is an owl. In the foreground, there is a spider’s web which contains a spider and a full moon. This is the card of the unconscious mind and intuitive skills and feelings. The minor arcana represents the temporary things that you may be experiencing in your life at any given time.This life is your journey of undoing, being, and becoming. Choose your path with the knowledge that all that manifests in your present is born of choices made in the past, and all that manifests in your future, is born of choices made in the present. In this way, you will create a present, and future, in harmony with your dreams and heart’s desire. The guidebook also describes several tarot spreads. There is a one-card guide spread and a three-card union spread. More detailed spreads include the Dreamers spread which explores the subconscious and the Dreaming Tree spread that extends into the past and the future. The guidebook can seem a little bit drawn out and repetitive for readers who prefer brief and easier to read explanations. By explaining the things that may be happening in your life, the minor arcana allows you to find the guidance to embrace or correct the things that are affecting your day-to-day life. Worth It?Unfortunately, Ravynne's progress has been further slowed due to her having developed cataracts that have begun to impact on her ability to see properly. She is on the hospital waiting list to have them removed, but due to COVID-19 and delays across the country with elective surgeries, she has no idea how long she will be waiting. She has, however, adapted to this new reality and is continuing to work as well as she can. The Knights of each suit have been replaced with archetypal figures mean to correspond to the suits’ energies. They are the Seneschal (Earth), Scribe (Air), Hero (Fire), and Counsellor (Water). I’ll admit, I had to look up the word “ seneschal” (it’s a medieval administrative post).
