About this deal

The problem with many of these DIY methods is that they don’t work very well. They’ll remove only some of the colour and even when they get most of it out, they leave your hair looking terrible.

It’s free of ammonia, bleach and other harsh chemicals. So it doesn’t dry out your hair or make it brittle. This means that you can safely re-colour your hair immediately after de-colouring it.Hair colour remover is effective, but it does smell pretty grim. You can get rid of the lingering odour by using some natural remedies: baking soda mixed with water in a spray and sprayed all over your hair is a good solution. Some describe it as cat pee and other say it smells like rotten eggs. This could be because the colour remover is extra-powerful to ensure it works on darker hair dyes.

Precolour Shampoo: Aqua (Water), Sodium Myreth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Lauryl Glucoside, PEG-4 Rapeseedamide, Betaine, Glycerin, Ascorbic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Polyquaternium-7, Propylene Glycol, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Tetrasodium EDTA, Lactic Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Phenoxyethanol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzoic Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Benzyl Alcohol, EDTA, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Sodium Chloride, Methylisothiazolinone, Limonene, Hydroxycitronellal, Parfum (Fragrance). This hair colour remover works only on permanent hair colour. It is not effective on temporary dye nor will it remove cuticle staining. This is a safe and effective way to remove colour from your hair. It will gently strip away dyed colour from your hair without using bleach products, which is a great bonus and will protect your hair from damage. This is another hair colour remover designed to work on both permanent and semi-permanent dye. Like the Colour B4 permanent and semi-permanent remover, it also smells somewhat awful. It will be some days before the smell is out of your hair. One thing to note: When talking about hair colour removers, we are talking about permanent hair colour removers. Most hair colour removers work best on permanent, not semi-permanent, hair colour. For semi-permanent dye, you can either rinse it out or wait for it to fade on its own. The Scott Cornwall Decolour strips out all kinds of permanent hair dye and you can reapply hair colour immediately. An easy and safe way to remove hair dye is using a hair colour remover. They are very effective on permanent hair dye and easy to apply at home. The best part is that they don’t contain bleach. So they remove the dye without stripping off your natural hair colour or weakening your hair. How do hair colour removers work? It removes both permanent and semi permanent colour, and also helps to remove build up – perfect if you have been colouring your hair for years. You can still brush and wash your hair without worrying it will fall out. If it feels slightly dry, a moisturising conditioner is all you need.

As with a balayage or ombre removal, you need to mix in a plastic bowl and apply the colour remover with a brush. You have attempted to remove a direct dye (such as a bright fashion colour). Direct colours are notable because they do not require intermixing with a peroxide-based developer. Instead, they are just one bottle or tube applied directly to the hair. Hair Colour Removers work with oxidation technology only and are ineffective at removing direct dyes. Reduction agents (as found in hair colour removers) can react with direct dyes. It is, for this reason, we state on the box that Decolour Remover is not for the removal of any fashion colours or direct dye.Permanent hair dye replaces some of your natural hair colour molecules with artificial colour molecules. So what a hair colour remover does is get inside your hair shafts and dissolves the bonds holding the colour molecules together. It also shrinks the molecules. If you have previously bleached or lightened your hair, ColourB4 Ultimate is unable to return your hair to its natural pigment. If you have applied a very dark or fashion colour (such as vribrant red or purple) to bleached, porous or grey hair, the cuticle may have been permanently stained. ColourB4 Ultimate cannot remove cuticle staining. This approach is ideal if you are happy with the overall colour but find the depth a little too heavy or the tone a bit intense.

Remove applicator nozzle from Part B (Remover) and pour in entire contents of Part A (Activator). Shake for 60 seconds. If you prefer to apply ColourB4™ with a tint bowl and brush, you can do so (at this stage) by pouring the mixed contents of the applicator bottle into the bowl once mixed 2. APPLICATION If you are thinking about removing your permanent hair colour, we found five really effective and safe hair colour removers online. Here they are. Part 1 Activator: Aqua, Sodium Oxymethlene Sulfoxylate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Caster Oil, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Polysorbate 20, Glycerin, Parfum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Citronellol, Hexyl Cinnemal, Linalool. The issue I have with XXL is it contains a huge amount of sillicone which isn't a problem, unless you use straightening irons over 200 degrees in heat. Then the sillicone hits it's boiling point and melts inside the hair. Then nothing can ever get the stuff out – not even bleach. When colouring the hair to the same or to a darker shade new synthetic pigment molecules are added to the hair’s natural pigment changing its colour. Whereas in lightening the hair’s natural colour the darker natural pigments need first to be broken down then replaced with the new synthetic pigments. Please note: ColourB4 Ultimate will help to remove unwanted colour and lighten the hair, however depending on the condition of your hair, and if it has previously been coloured it may not completely remove the colour. The hair had a build-up of silicones, residues and barriers and Decolour Remover could not enter the hair to evoke any change. In this instance, you should clarify the hair several times, do not apply any conditioner or styling products, then repeat the Decolour Remover applicator. If you mix Decolour Remover in a tint bowl and apply with a brush, it is possible to achieve a balayage or ombre colour removal effect. Here, you remove only the colour in the ends or balayage threads. Giving a multi-tonal/highlighted or ombre effect.
