About this deal

Genestealer Cults propagate across the galaxy by stowing away in transport vessels and settling in for the long haul, or forcefully commandeering ships. This skilled insurgent team is made up of a Kelemorph, an Abominant, five Aberrants, and 10 Acolyte Hybrids – who can also be built as Hybrid Metamorphs. Imperial Knights Dice Set and Chaos Knights Dice Set This versatile Boarding Patrol comprises a Tech-Priest Dominus and their loyal bodyguard of 10 Skitarii Vanguard, who can also be built as Rangers. You’ll also find a cadre of five Sicarian Infiltrators – who can also be built as Ruststalkers – and a trio of heavily armed Kataphron Destroyers – which can also be built as Breachers. Boarding Patrol: Chaos Daemons

Acolyte Hybrids/Hybrids are always fun to put on the field, and this has plenty! But again, like the Daemons box, it is a little specific, so if you want Hybrids, this box is awesome; if you don’t, it’s not for you. Death Guard This set also contains a skittering Venomcrawler, two hulking Obliterators, and 10 Chaos Cultists who are waaay out of their depth on Team Vashtorr, facing down 10 Intercessors and five Deathwing Terminators who make up Azrael’s honour guard. You also get two Dark Angels Primaris Upgrade frames and a set of 155 Dark Angels transfers. Vashtorr Dice Set This versatile box provides bodies, ballistics, and big-hitters for you to join the eternal quest to uncover archeotech and fragments of holy STC from the ancient Arks of Omen. If you missed it, we look at the latest pricing and values of the new Warhammer 40k box sets in separate posts below:

The Boarding Patrol: Death Guard set provides a relentlessly tough force of Death Guard infantry, perfectly suited to destroying enemies in games of Warhammer 40,000. The models are especially useful in the dense and deadly Boarding Action missions featured in the Arks of Omen series. The kit is cost-effective, offering a great way to expand your army and save money on the individual models. As always, keep your astropathic choir trained on the searing light of the Astronomican – or just sign up for the Warhammer Community newsletter for more up-to-the-millennium communiqués as they’re revealed.

The Raven Guard were the first Legion to test the now ubiquitous Mark VI ‘Corvus’ Pattern armour. These upgrades let you equip your units with retro-style prototype helmets, and shoulder pads embellished with their corvine emblem. Alpha Legion MKVI Upgrades The sons of Mortarion are ready to fumigate their local voidcraft with this bloated Boarding Patrol led by a putrid Lord of Virulence, his three sworn Deathshroud Terminators, and 10 incredibly sturdy Plague Marines who benefit from a corrupted cornucopia of weapon options. Boarding Patrol: Genestealer CultsFinally, the Death Guard heed Abaddon’s call, with an obdurate if slimy Boarding Patrol led by a Lord of Virulence. He’s joined by a bodyguard of three Deathshroud Terminators, as well as 10 versatile Plague Marines – three of which are taken from the much-sought-after Plague Marine Reinforcements set. Miniatures Material: Plastic (Please note all miniatures come unpainted as new – some assembly is required) Bring even bigger guns to bear in the Age of Darkness with the Typhon Heavy Siege Tank. Designed to suit the battleplans of Perturabo himself, this modified Land Raider sports a frankly massive dreadhammer siege cannon that can reduce buildings to rubble and flatten whole squads. Exodus – The One Who Is Many Represent your chosen steeds in battle – be they Noble or Fallen – with one of these sets of 15 dice. Both feature a helmed icon on the 6 face, and Imperial Knights get a two-tone blue dice with silvery pips, while the Chaos Knights get a two-tone red dice with golden pips. The premier assassin of the Alpha Legion is identified only as Exodus. Is this master sniper one man, or many sharing the same appearance? Confound your opponent with the baffling implications of this chicanery before plugging their high-value targets right in the beaky with the help of this shadowy death-dealer. Traitor Esoterist Consul

Chaos Daemons have – appropriately, given the arrival of Angron – manifested as a huffing and slavering crash of Khornate nightmares. 10 Bloodletters and 10 Flesh Hounds are led by Khorne’s favourite hunter – Karanak, the Hound of Vengeance. In the cramped confines of a space hulk, these frenzied killers will close the distance between enemy guns with warp-flushed speed and savagery. If we cannot deliver the goods within this time we will tell the consumer immediately and agree on another time for delivery. The only problem? Everyone else wants in on the action, and now the whole galaxy is boarding the Arks of Omen in search of glory, treasure, or just a big punch-up. In fact, four more Boarding Patrol boxes are preparing for launch in the near future – and only one of them might be said to have the Emperor’s best interests at heart…Bloated with corruption and sworn to Grandfather Nurgle’s service, the disgusting, rotted bodies of the Death Guard stink of decay, the joints of their armour dribbling putrescent slime that corrodes metal and burns flesh. These horrific disfigurements only enhance their skill as killers – each of Mortarion’s sons is a fearsome warrior who brings death and infection wherever they tread. To discover any foe lurking within a space hulk is a worrying thought, but the Death Guard’s presence is the stuff of nightmares. This one is strange because a lot of the value comes from the Plague Marines, and considering the reinforcements box is so expensive for three minis; it’s hard to say. With the caveat that to actually save money with these boxes, you have to need every model in the box (which I think will hurt the Grey Knights because of Castellan Crowe–if you want him, you probably already have him.), all of these Boarding Patrol boxes are very good value. I think that the whole concept of Boarding Patrols is weird, and I think it goes along with my feelings of the current Kill Team campaign: it seems like it wants to be Space Hulk for all the factions, but they have never gone full Space Hulk (Terminators vs Genestealers.) I suppose if you bought two of these Boarding Patrols, you could come up with Terminators vs Genestealers Space Hulk battle, but only on a limited scale. Anyway, it seems weird. The Aeldari, a latecomer, is currently ranking as the best at 202%. Sad it was released the same day as the 148% Drukhari.
