But this... This one takes the cake on clones for me. One spray on my hand yesterday and within seconds, antiseptic smell, burnt cotton candy, and ambroxan. Its so much ambroxan but not in a bad way. This is 95% the same. It is basically the same fragrance. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference in a blind test. I dare you to try !There is almost no sillage right from the start - after 15 min I doubt that anyone will notice you are wearing this.. Why it’s great: The fragrance profile of Al Haramain’s Amber Oud Rouge is about as close as you’ll find in the world of Baccarat Rouge 540 alternatives. Spicy, leathery top notes of saffron are subtly offset by floral jasmine before rising to a crescendo with musky, woody base notes of ambergris and white cedar. Though scent is highly subjective and it’s a good idea to test drive several options, I’d highly recommend you make this fragrance your first pit stop. It's almost like they rebottled BR540 extrait. I don't see Al Haramain talked about as much in terms of clone houses. L'Aventure didn't smell as synthetic as CDNIM and was a worthy Aventus clone.
