I created a fork of this project that I turned into the TetrisAnimation library for Arduino. It extracted only the animation part of the code and abstracted what type of display it worked on. Or wire the transistors as complementary emitter followers and do away with the 4 resistors. Emitter followers has a base-emitter drop, so for both paths that works out to drop 1.4V or so. Very cool!
