About this deal

It comes with 2 spare exhausts to allow for different noise restricted venues so has quiet (99db) , medium ( 106db) and full bore (115db). The Vision was then extensively rebuilt and modified to accept one of the special turbocharged K Series engines which were developed by Rover for the MG EXF project. The car has proved to be a competitive proposition in speed events over the years but has not been used since being immaculately prepared with a freshly rebuilt engine. We are still actively developing Hill Climb Racing and adding new vehicles, new stages and new content! Having been recently restored it would originally have been fitted with a 250cc Villiers engine but is currently fitted with a 500cc single cylinder GM speedway engine and a Norton gearbox. There aren't too many of these cars around so this gorgeous little car is both an investment opportunity as well as an enjoyable and competitive racer. This particular 1966, red, Johnny Walker JW4 has quite a comprehensive history of past owners and competition over the last 50 years and has probably one of the most complete histories of all the surviving JW4's of which more detail can be provided on request. This car was the 2014 Champion of Mondello and, following a complete rebuild, has competed in the HSA Speed Championahip for the last two seasons.

This stunning example is the last Vin Malkie continuation B19 produced, using all new parts other than a set of original bodywork. Only used for a limited number of classic hillclimbs since built, with several successes including an FTD at Shelsley Walsh.

Chassis 15 is believed to have been constructed from spares by the factory, around the time when Edenbridge was being closed down. As such it has no period history. It is however currently to F2 specification other than the engine, which is a Jennetts 2.0 litre Ford YB on carburettors. The gearbox is a period correct Hewland FG400 and the car runs on Compomotive and Melmag wheels. Complete with three sets of wheels and used tyres, remote starter, pre-heater, spare gear rations, a set of straight through pipes and everything you need to run the car. It also has a PC with data-logging and an old style MSA Competition Log Book. The frame is an Austrian built Kaimann matching original specification drawings. Front uprights are VW but all suspension arms and rods are new. Fabricated from original parts by RS Fabrications. The rear uprights and arms are also new from the same company. The car had a period in storage and by the 1970s it had fallen into a rather tired state, but fortunately it came into the hands of Peter Seabrook-Harris who over time restored it to its current lovely condition. The Dellow starts on the button and on the road it is very lively and handles well. It is very sound with a sweet engine, an easy to use Ford three-speed gearbox, taut suspension, good steering and strong brakes.
