About this deal
blindsquarel Yes, but my point is that the games will still work on the regular Switch, so that's where "Pro" comes into the equation, it won't be a completely clear cut new generation where none of the games play on the previous models. Of course eventually the old systems will be phased out, but I wouldn't be surprised if the regular Switch is still relevant in 2026. The estimated annual energy consumption when the wired LAN connection is maintained during Sleep Mode. Three play modes Nintendo Switch can transform to suit your situation, so you can play the games you want, no matter how busy your life may be. It's a new era where you don't have to adjust your lifestyle to play games — instead, your console adjusts to fit around your lifestyle
Flip out the stand and hand a controller to another player to share the screen and enjoy competitive or co-operative multiplayer, anytime and anywhere. Nintendo Switch (OLED model)'s wide adjustable stand can be set to your preferred viewing angle for comfortable gameplay in tabletop mode. I'm surprised Dragon's Dogma didn't make the list, I know it is an older port, but all the night time and dark areas, I would think the OLED would really make them pop/spookier.
Enjoy tabletop mode at your preferred viewing angle
Please understand (heheh): I'm not putting down anyone who enjoys unboxing videos. I just don't understand the appeal.
Just so you know, the Pokemon Company belongs one third each to Nintendo, Gamefreak and Creatures Inc.
Kirgo this is exactly what I figured would happen with BotW. I haven’t tried BotW, MonHun Stories 2, or Ni No 1&2 yet, but I assumed they’d have the least impact, or feared even worse - that normal blurred line edges that looked great on LCD, would be highlighted and look worse on OLED due to sharpness and contrast differences. I’m curious as to how the Switch will recognise the Joy-Con given that they are (presumably/anecdotally) flagged with a single colour, unless of course this is to be rectified via a system update. This Nintendo Switch is certainly something for everyone, big or small! It has a good battery life and can therefore be taken anywhere, this makes for a nice gaming experience even on the go. The operation of the device is simple and very understandable. The design is kept very simple and therefore looks very classy. Included is a small station, which can conveniently be networked to the TV to allow playing on a larger screen. Good value for money. Diablo 2 should be on the list as well - granted it’s had server issues since launch, but single player works fine. But since it is a darker game with high contrasts it benefitted amazingly from the OLED upgrade.
