About this deal

Do you happen to know the model number (HX????) that was printed on the base of your original, now faulty brush? What is on the base of this one you have now? Brushes within the ProtectiveClean range have 1, 2 or 3 modes and in some instances different cleaning intensities too. The 4000 Series offers a little less choice, with just 1 brushing mode, but 2 different brushing intensities. If this is a new toothbrush, and your first time trying to connect to the app, ensure that the toothbrush handle is fully charged. If repeated pressing doesn’t solve the issue, it is likely faulty and in need of replacement. Reply It offers a blend of features and functions that benefit us as users at a price that most will find affordable.

You might not desire more power and a deeper cleaning, but based on Sonicares data this does make somewhat of a meaningful difference to your oral health.Thank you. I just figured put i bought the wring one or i should say i bought 6 of the wrong ones. My unit has the brush with the houding sround it. Thank you for uour help tho Reply Are you putting the cap onto the brush head after you have used the brush head each time? So the toothbrush bristles are still wet? Turn the toothbrush off and place on charge for a full 24 hours before attempting to turn it on again.

The amplitude of 4100’s motor has been tuned to provide a more intense cleaning action, despite the same number of brush strokes.

If your Sonicare toothbrush offers the option to choose between 3 different intensity settings, change the level set.

No necessarily. If it is within warranty, give Sonicare a call to see about getting it repaired/replaced. Reply That being said, the newer iO9 series is designed with a different motor that is much quieter (2-12 decibels quieter) than other Oral-B brushes. Those beeps and buzzing are likely the alerts that the battery is low and needs charging. With 2 charging stands, both of which you have tried it with, it would seem as if the brush is no longer charging. If you have not used a power toothbrush before, the brushing sensation and experience you get will still feel more powerful than a manual toothbrush. This model is comfortable, boasts an excellent battery life, and presents excellent cleaning capabilities For example, the Optimal Clean HX6829/27 from a feature and performance point of view, is almost identical to the ProtectiveClean 5100.

Turn the toothbrush on with a brush head attached. Slowly place the handle onto the charging stand (connected to power). Hi. Do you have the Philips One powered by a removable AAA battery? Not the rechargeable one? I have used a large screwdriver or coin to open it up. If you still can’t open it give Sonicare a call. Reply I was away for six weeks and left my sonicaire in the charger. When I returned home and went to use it, I could feel/hear a pulse but the toothbrush would not turn on. It shows that it is fully charged. Any thoughts? You should hopefully be able to just give them the brush name/model number if you have it. Or they will take some details from the base of the handle. Of course a receipt is useful if you do have it. Our Verdict

There are a multitude of Sonicare electric toothbrushes that use its acclaimed sonic technology, which delivers up to 62,000 movements of the brush head per minute, resulting in micro–bubbles that really target the area between teeth and the gum line. Sonicare’s all-rounder, the DailyClean 1100 electric toothbrush, is a great transition model to help you move from a manual toothbrush with the sensitive EasyStart program, which gently increases power over time. Another highlight is the Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 with built in smart sensors, which is designed to whiten your teeth in just one week. Whilst the brush is designed to resist water prolonged exposure or submersion in water may lead to water ingress inside the handle. We’ve spent hundreds of hours figuring out the differences, and still there are small details that are difficult to distinguish between. I am assuming it was all working fine and this time you have come to charge it and it is now not working? Triple tone of high-med-low means the EasyStart feature has been deactivated. The brush head replacement light and battery light will also blink amber 3 times in unison to confirm deactivation. Reply
