About this deal

This is also known as the “parachute flap” technique. Women undergoing this procedure should still be able to breastfeed because some of the milk duct system remains attached. You shouldn’t experience a change in nipple sensation. Some nipples only invert sometimes, and can reverse after changes in temperature or stimulation. Others nipples can be permanently inverted. This means that they’ll remain inverted unless you try to reverse them through one of the methods described below. The breast shell may stimulate lactation in people who breastfeed. Nursing parents should not wear them continuously for days on end. If you wear the shell during feedings, be sure to wash it in hot, soapy water afterwards, and dispose of any milk leaked into the shell during wearing. Wear your Niplette under your clothing. If you're wearing a tight top, you can conceal the Niplette with a specially designed protective cover. Grade 2: This grade means it may be more difficult to pull out the nipple than a grade 1 inversion. When released, the nipple retracts inward.

This is a short outpatient procedure involving local anesthesia. You can go home the same day, and, because it is minimally invasive, you will probably be able to return to your routine (work, etc.) the following day.Place the phalange over your breast, ensuring your nipple is centered inside the hole. Phalanges come in different sizes, so be sure the phalange you're using covers your nipple. Sapountzis, S., Kim, J. H., Minh, P., Hwang, Y. S., Baek, R. M., & Heo, C. Y. (2012). Correction of inverted nipple with "arabesque"-shape sutures. Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, 36(2), 339–342 Grade 1: A person can easily pull out the nipple, and it maintains its projection. This grade of inversion causes no major problems with breastfeeding. High temperature sterilizable:Food grade liquid silicone, sterilizable at 120 degrees. Can be wear day and night. Patients who have undergone nipple correction surgery frequently report a boost in confidence and are generally much happier with the way the breasts look.

You can do this whenever you’d like for your nipples to protrude, but it isn’t clear how long this effect will last. For best results, practice this technique at least once a day. Regular stimulation may help your nipples protrude more often. New users typically wear Supple Cups for 15 minutes on the first day. If no pain or discomfort is experienced, one may advance the time each day, gradually increasing to four hours per day by the end of the first week. If you have Grade 1 inversion, it's likely that manual methods can help loosen the fibrous tissue and allow the nipple to protract more easily. We believe that the highest quality aftercare is just as important as the surgery itself, so we’re here to support you through the recovery period. You’ll need to give your body plenty of time to heal and we’ll give you detailed guidance on the best way to do this. The recovery period will differ from person to person, but we recommend at least one week off work and in some cases two weeks may be necessary. You’ll need to avoid and strenuous activity and tight clothing in the first couple of weeks after surgery to prevent any chafing or discomfort to your nipples. When used over time, these devices can help loosen the nipple tissue. This can help your nipples remain erect for longer periods of time.

Inverted nipples indent more than they protrude. They can occur on one or both breasts. It’s estimated that 9 to 10 percent of women have at least one inverted nipple. Men can have them, too. Nipple formers apply gentle pressure on the areola (the circle of darker-coloured skin around the nipple), which can help to gradually draw out a flat or inverted nipple. Use the Niplette. The Niplette is a device that elongates the milk ducts by pulling on the nipple for an extended period. This small, clear, plastic device is worn over the nipple and under clothing. There are some suction devices promoted for reversing inverted nipples. Most are worn under clothing for extended periods of time.
