Thermometer technology, like all tech, continues to grow and improve at an almost exponential rate. Every week, we see a new temperature measurement system, thermometer style, or brand new thermometer tech on the market. Paul, to my knowledge, Instacur #1, Prague #1, Cure # are all different brand names for the same thing. I'll be more than happy to share my experience, so just ask away. We fired up the grill, threw the meat in, and started smoking. We played with the App and watched how the temperature slowly but surely started climbing. The App was steering us all the entire time.

Fat: Those who suffer from gallbladder or pancreas problems must restrict their fat intake. Some experts recommend these individuals avoid foods with 3 grams of fat or more per serving. Additionally, those with high LDL cholesterol levels and heart-related problems are generally advised to limit fat consumption .If you could look at a grill grate under a microscope, you would see pores and a rough, pitted surface.

There are a couple of things that can be changed to make the user experience even better. While a cook was in progress I was able to change my meat sensor alert settings. When I tried to change the ambient target temperature, there was no way to do it. You can see a chart of oils and smoking points here. Peanut, sunflower, corn and palm oils have smoking points around 450 °F or 232 °C. Refined canola oil is a good alternative with a smoking point of 400 °F or 204 °C. Yes, the ingredients are for Teaspoons. As for bison, I have never tried using it but I think the process would be the same, based on several articles I have read online. BUT, here is where you can definitely use these wireless meat probes, rotisseries! It doesn’t matter how good of a wireless thermometer you got unless it is a true WIRELESS device; those cables will keep you from using it with a rotisserie.The main feature of these new-age thermometers is that they are truly wireless. There are many “wireless” thermometers, but many of those still use cables to transfer temperature readings from the probes to a monitor or receiver; you then wirelessly connect to the monitor via a smart device app or another monitor. Setting a cooking program or an alarm is super simple. For internal temperature alarms, you can set both a final temperature alert and a pre-temp alert which lets you know when your meat is getting close to being finished. This can be super helpful if you're searing steaks in cast-iron skillets or on a grill because the finishing temperature can approach much faster than with smoked meats.
