About this deal

In what the book sets out to be, I think it does fairly well. From the intro the author says that this book is meant to point towards the Bible and encourage readers to go read the Bible. Hey is there anyway you could possibly split your infographics so they can be printed for bible study groups? When you try to print them the way they are they either come out TOO compressed or so small that you can’t read them? Kushal Dave used Google to count how often Bible verses appears online and made these darker to show which parts of the Bible are being used the most. You can try the interactive version of his research here. Karen Sawrey: The Collins English Dictionary has a great explanation already prepared for me: “A graph, diagram, or other visual image designed to present complex information in an easily understandable form.”

The top half, purposefully placed to represent God’s heavenly nature, shows those things that God is, and we are not. And so God’s character is placed at the bottom—this shows his attributes that we can develop on earth. The human mind is one of the most fascinating works of God—but I don’t think that means all dreams are significant on the level that, say, Joseph’s were. Still, I find them useful. You can learn a lot about yourself by paying attention to what you dream.

Dreams fascinate me, and I figure they’re interesting to you, too. Since God has revealed some of His word through dreams, I thought it might be cool to find all the dreams in the Bible. Jacob’s favorite son Joseph has two dreams that throw a wrench in the family dynamic. In the first dream, Joseph and his brothers are gathering grain into sheaves. Jospeh’s sheaf stands upright, but the brother’s bundles of grain bow down to Joseph’s sheaf. Karen Sawrey: I believe the Bible is one of the key places we encounter God and his heart for a relationship with us, bringing nourishment and wholeness ( Proverbs 4:20-22). It’s an incredible, life-bringing gift extended to every single person—enjoy!

Do you have a spare 5 minutes in your day? Take up and read the book of Jude or maybe even Obadiah. Do you have 15 minutes? Read Ruth or Philippians. Do you have an hour? Immerse yourself in Nehemiah or Romans. Here is a prayer you can use to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord & Savior. It is a suggested prayer – the key is that you are speaking from your heart. There are some deeper levels of information that the reader can explore should they wish to, but not doing so won’t detract from the main messages of the infographic. That looked like volunteers doing my cleaning, shopping and sometimes cooking for me while my bottom was firmly fixed to my studio seat! But most importantly the project was supported with prayer. This graphic appears in the centre section of The Infographic Bible where there are visuals of the Bible’s response to topical issues that affect us today. Blue is chosen to represent heaven, the green for creation and restoring, gold for divinity, and pink for love. Specifically, the pink used has become known amongst my team and I as ‘God is love’ pink: it’s a mix of the colors I’ve used to represent the Trinity: burgundy for the Father, pink for Jesus, and gold for the Holy Spirit.

Introduction — THE INFOGRAPHIC BIBLE

I would absolutely recommend “The Infographic Bible” to anyone wanting to enhance their Bible studying, and better understand Scripture. You definitely won’t be disappointed with the amazing amount of thought, effort, and work that was put into creating this sensational Bible study tool. Scripture excerpts from the New Revised Standard Version, the New King James Version, and the Good News Translation Sometimes in the Bible, God communicates to people in dreams. Some of them are symbolic (like the dreams in Daniel), and some involve explicit instructions from God. The king of Babylon has a terrifying dream, and nobody can interpret it but the Hebrew wise man, Daniel. This dream involves an enormous statue made of various materials—which represent different world kingdoms. The statue is smashed by a stone which becomes a mountain, representing the coming kingdom of God. 14. Nebuchadnezzar’s tree I’ve been a lucid dreamer since I was seven years old, so I suppose you could say I’m a dreamer. I have a lot of them, at least. I’m not familiar with Thompson & Beale’s work, but I’m glad you’ve found something that helps you and your wife! One of the hardest and most time-consuming parts of this project has been creating the data from scratch, which was the case for everything you see with the exception of 2 subjects. But that also meant I had the honour of working with some incredible people and biblical scholars to produce this data, often seeking people out specifically for subjects. The audience can, if they choose, follow some of the lines from prophecy to fulfillment; however, as it’s a bound book, that’s not the main purpose of the infographic. It was designed to show there are connections and the beautiful pattern those connections weave.
