About this deal

All the components are top-notch, with the controller’s main body made from metal. That means it’s solid but hefty. The Prime 4 handles beat effects more like a DJ controller than a mixer. Above each of the jogwheels you will find effects controls like many modern DJ controllers. Each of these effects sections can have up to three effects chained. So at any time a DJ can have up to seven effects applied to a single source at the same time. It may sound like overkill, but the extra flexibility is appreciated. Finally Onboard stem extraction and analysis tool is the world’s first stem system to exist in an all-in-one DJ system, opening new creative frontiers for mash-ups, remixes, and more To add your own custom DJ or brand logo simply createa .PNG file, name it "logo.png" and place it into the Engine Library directory on your USB/SD media device. We recommenda .PNG with the dimensions of 600 x 600 pixels. On the other hand, if you have no plans of playing at clubs and festivals or you’re a mobile / events DJ, the controller-style layout found on the Prime 4 might appeal to you more. Music management

This could also be used to customize a client experience by adding event specific images to the display like a corporate logo or picture of the bride and groom. There is a lot to love about the updated Denon Prime 4 Plus. The large screen is still an eye-catcher and very easy to use. A solid selection of integrated features adds to the appeal. Supported Audio File Formats: AAC/M4A, AIF/AIFF (44.1–192kHz, 16–32-bit), ALAC, FLAC, MP3 (32–320 kbps, VBR), MP4, Ogg Vorbis, WAV (44.1–192kHz, 16–32-bit) Speaking of effects, both the Prime 4 and DDJ-1000SRT have onboard effects just like most club mixers. What’s great about both controllers is that they can also be used with external sources hooked up to the controllers (eg the aforementioned turntables or media players). With either of these controllers, most DJs won’t have the want or need for a separate four-channel mixer anymore. All-in-one capabilityOne thing I was not aware off with the prime 4 is the possibility to add external hardware via the ethernet port to control your DMX lighting. I will be looking Into this very soon. I was adamant I wanted the Pioneer RX2 and with a last minute change of heart I decided upon the Denon Prime 4. These types of DJ controllers are always going to be pricey in the DJ world and the Prime 4 isn’t cheap by any means, but it might hold up until the year 3000, so you’ll get your money’s worth out of it by then.I Is the Denon Prime 4 worth it? Live Lessons DJing With Wireless Speakers & Headphones…But WHY?! DJing With Wireless Speakers & Headphones…But WHY?! The Denon Prime 4’s magnificent display combined with the Denon ENGINE PRIME keeps the DJ mixing solely on the controller.

Yes, channels 3 and 4 have switchable line/phono inputs that can be used to send your timecode signal through toSerato DJ Pro. Both the Denon Prime 4 and the Pioneer DJ DDJ-1000SRT are great pro level pieces of hardware. The Prime 4 may be more expensive but it also provides more flexibility with its inputs and outputs. The separate controls for the mic channels and the zone output are features that just wouldn’t be possible if it followed the CDJ/DJM layout. The Sweep FX include Filter, Echo, Noise, and Wash Out and can be used one at a time. Simply press the button for the effect you'd like to use and turn the Sweep FX Knob above each channel to perform that effect on the corresponding channel.

If an item can not be repaired, a similar alternative product or cash discount (as defined in this policy) will be offered You establish a deeper connection with your gear when mixing without a laptop. While some DJs have become familiar with working with both there is a liberating feeling when you can focus on your gear. There is a difference in the size of the jogwheels. The jogwheels on the XDJ-XZ are the same 206 mm size as their flagship CDJs. The jogwheels on the Prime 4 are more in line with what you might find on a controller sized 152 mm. If your goal as a DJ is to make it to the festival circuit where CDJs and DJM mixers are the standard, it makes sense to pursue the DDJ-1000SRT. The more club-style layout of the DDJ-1000SRT is the perfect way to train for the jump to the Pioneer DJ club standard.
