Inflation is a doddle but there is no pump provided (understandable at this price). There is just a single valve for the entire unit – plug in your pump, switch on and you’ll be inflated in under 5 minutes. We wouldn’t recommend doing it with lung power alone (we tried) – a pump is essential! In Use The Outdoor Revolution Campese Sofa Bed is a versatile piece of furniture, used as either an inflatable sofa, or an inflatable camp bed. Perfect for family campers, restricted by space, needing furniture that can do more than one job. The Campese is manufactured with a 420-denier polyester cover, to increase the comfort, warmth and durability of the sofa. Even when sat together, there isn’t a whole lot to choose between these two, other than the Campese logo which defines one from the other. Weight wise the only difference is the pump – Outwell comes with a built in pump, whereas the Outdoor Revolution Campese requires an air pump. Spec wise, that’s really the only major difference. Where the Campeze comes into its own though is when it gets transformed into a double bed – this is simply achieved by undoing the velcro straps and unfolding the three chambers. Simplicity itself and an exceptionally comfortable sleeping station is the result.

We’ve owned both of these for over a year now and they have been tested out in the field, in the lounge at home in between sofas, in hurried pitching conditions when we over-inflated one of the sofas, and both have been climbed over by the dog and cat when pitched in our event shelter.
