Cedar and musk make this warm and inviting, and this is one of those scents that can be worn year round as it is so clean and inoffensive. On me it has great staying power, on skin and clothes. But there’s something in it that I just plain don’t like. I can only imagine it’s the artemisia or nutmeg. Maybe the combination of the two?

So I took my sample out again to try, and now it's summer. Maybe the warmth allowed my senses to grab on to this. It's just so subtle. And I can't help but be reminded of baby products, though it's not babyish, just so soft. Like luxury hand soap at a posh hotel. You smell softly clean, and notes don't jump out and announce themselves. Touch wafts shyly around your personal bubble and feels comfortable, clean and soft. I'm wearing Touch right now. My friend Alicia just left the office, and before she left, she told me exactly this: I loved your perfume this morning, but now I like it a lot more. A fresh feminine floral with an interesting woody base. I'd like Burberry Touch more if it lasted longer but that aside I have no complaints. It's one of the few perfumes in my collection that feels suitable for someone my age. It's unique, interesting, & versatile to boot. Definitely one of the more complex fragrances from the house. Burberry fragrances have a reputation for being cheap, especially the newer ones, but Touch is nice.As it dries down it becomes more well rounded,less crisp but more cozy,powdery and smooth as the woods come in with the drydown ! There’s not a lot of progression but the scent does smoothen out as time passes and on my skin gets better with time. In the opening it's a very clean and soapy fragrance. When i say "soapy" i mean soapy in a good way, like a luxurious soap.

It's a pretty interesting unisex-leaning fragrance for me. Nothing amazing about the scent, but somehow it seriously feels like it *glides* through my nose when I smell it. It's comfy, feels like laying in a hotel bed with nicely washed, soft, white bedsheets. Also reminds me of summertime. It's inviting, I find it hard to dislike: I laughed really hard to that comment below where middle-schoolers went out of their way to say the scent is shit, poor guy. Burberry Touch is one of the more intriguing colognes for men. It doesn’t have the primal masculine scent notes that are often associated with other Burberry for men fragrances. I sense a gentle, slightly powdery, and almost ethereal aspect to the composition. Faintly sweet, fine powder and wonderful, clean musk. This sits just close enough to skin as not to offend and is sweetened just enough to make it inviting.Not what I was expecting. I've seen this on so many "versatile" lists on YouTube put up right beside fragrances such as YSL Y, Sauvage, Versace Pour Homme, Dior Homme 2020, ect. Now I wasn't expecting some "blue fragrance" or "compliment bomb", but I did kind of expect somewhat of a cross between Versace Pour Homme and Dior Homme 2020. If you like the sunshine and sunflower fields, and are a generally happy person, you'll fall in love with this :) And when you wear it, those around you will fall in love with you.

Touch reminds me a lot of Cashmere Mist. It's one of those soft, cuddly, skin enveloping scents that wraps you up in soft coziness.As it transitions, the warm, woodsy notes appear and it has a pleasantness about it that makes it a people pleasing inoffensive scent. The final dry down is quite powdery/musky and puts me in mind of frags I used to wear in the 70’s and eighties, sort of a “Jovan Musk Lite”. Those musk-driven colognes last a long time on my skin so I’m very wary of how many sprays I apply. Personally, I would not use this one in the summer…too cloying and mixed with perspiration it could be very off-putting on me. Overall, it’s a nice change of pace in the late fall, winter and early spring. The ladies (not girls) like it. About 6 years ago I started watching this Youtube channel that got me more interested in developing my scent collection more. BigbeardB considers Touch a 10/10, so I decided to finally pay some respect to that and try it myself too with a blind-buy. Performance is excellent as it lasts 6-10 hours and projection is above average and silage is great with this one !! There is a fresh, aromatic opening that moves into powdery-fresh in the mid. The end is a skin scent that is powdery-sweet. Very light and comfortable. Always "correct".
