I don't want to buy another universal remote as I've already got 2 of them. What I want is the remote CODE for the TV (BAUHN Model ATV-19HED2 sold by ALDI) that I have so that I can use my existing URC. No, I haven't found the remote in question but in desperation I have tried all the remotes that I have around the house, and surprise surprise, the one I use for my VIVID TV (ALDI) works perfectly.The remote codes are different for every type of universal remote. You need to call the help line for that brand of remote and ask them which code to use Tell them unreasonable amount of time it has taken to get a reply or replacement from the manufacturer directly and exercise your rights Same issue in March 2015. Have reported today but the automated/basic reply is to reset the app settings.. I had alreasy tried that many times. Wont be holding breath for Bauhn to be properly added. Should of asked here first which universal remote to get. Hard to go past a Logitech Harmony remote. I've mislaid the remote for this TV and I was wondering if anybody new how I could get hold of BAUHN remote IR codes. I've looked everywhere on the net and the name BAUHN just isn't mentioned in any of the code lists. You can claim a remedy from the retailer if the products do not meet any one or more of the consumer guarantees, with the exception of availability of spare parts and repair facilities. This application is an IR blaster remote app so it only works on smartphones having a built-in IR blaster.I was hoping that some kind person who already has one of these TVs and still has their remote that they can use that to 'learn' the code into a URC and then tell me what the code is. My thoughts being that the URC list the code (well the ones I have do so). I reached their customer service as it was within the warranty period, even after 4 months, I haven't received anything. Unfortunately it seems that the only other remote code set used by Bauhn (1589) is used by Medion. Medion uses that among others and I had already tried Medion in the App and it did not work. Very disappointing that the Bauhn code has been made entirely unique. I thought it would simply be a rebrand from something else. I have a Bauhn TV and want to use the remote control app on my new Samsung Note. Unfortunately Bauhn is not specifically supported. I have tried a number of other brands in the list but there are hundreds. Does anyone happen to know if the Bauhn remotes are the same as another brand?
