About this deal

This is a Schedule 8 medication and can only be supplied if the prescription meets all relevant Australian health regulations. I've never tried or smelled the EDP, so I can't compare them. But when I do, I'll write an update. I'm not sure if I'll like the EDP better because it was a rose note, and I'm not a fan of a rose accord. But we'll see!

I love this for the spring and summer days. I also think it is a great scent that can be work to work and it is non-offensive. I used to make fun of this for being a boring church girl perfume, but then I smelled it. It's great! I think jasmine is one of my power notes and this is a nice, dry, clean jasmine/rose with a really beautiful musk base. I also have some of the lotion, which seems to leave a lingering scent for even longer. It's really nice layered with almost anything (I recommend layering with an ambroxan scent like Juliette Has a Gun Not a Perfume!) and it's a good squeaky clean scent on its own. There is something about it that feels timeless without coming off as old fashioned. I can understand why it's so popular. To me, this is the essence of the word "beautiful". I love that it's a bit shy and not too overpowering. The citrus lasts about an hour. Yet in the drydown, it develops into something even lovelier, and on me, there is great longevity. I seem to get a bit more rose than what I'm seeing from other users. Sillage is more than than I was aware of when I first began using Amazing Grace.

It's perfect for an everyday signature scent, and for the workplace if you're not allowed to wear strong scents. I worked in F&B while I was wearing this as my signature scent, and it worked great. The sillage is pretty intimate, so you would have to stand very close to me to smell it. But you can smell it easily on yourself and your skin all day -- it doesn't just disappear into nothing. For the price point and for being an EDT, I think longevity is great! Someone in this thread called this fragrance "challenging" and it's so true. What I get from it is a low-key sandy mineral vibe; reminiscent of a very, very subdued version of Dune. It's like a tamed Dune tempered with citrus and florals. This is a very clean smelling, soapy fragrance. I really like it. I don't think anyone else has compared it to this but I had a sample of Chanel no5 l'eau, and it sort of reminds me of it but it's half the price. It's okay. Very understated, not really noticeable. Light florals with a touch of musk. This would be a safe gift since I can't imagine anyone hating it, but I don't think it's worth purchasing unless you're specifically looking for a low-sillage cheapie. It could be a good first perfume for a teenager who just wants something to wear.At first I hated it. Upon first spray all I could detect was a sharp smell of chemicals almost like hair spray. After a while when it had settled down it turned to a floral soapy freshness. I don’t really smell any jasmine on me it smells more like lily of the valley.. maybe its my chemistry or my poor recognition of notes Despite it being described as a soft floral, Amazing Grace opens sharp and lingers for far longer than I care for. Those who've described it as peppery are spot-on. Its dupe by PB Premier is less peppery, so it may be a better option for those who like the fragrance. My mother adores this, her favourite flower is lily of the valley and she told me I smelled like a field of flowers. My significant other got me this, specifically the EDP, for Christmas last year. He said he’d asked a friend for input and the friend recommended it because *his* wife wears it and he and SO both liked it on her. I don’t think I’d noticed it on her, but I like her general style, so I was looking forward to trying it. This is a review of the EdP, not the EdT or “fragrance spray” or whatever Philosophy used to call it. (I have an older bottle, BTW .. with dense sparkles at the bottom that disperse toward the top of the bottle, circa 2014-2015.. ish.)

It’s definately not my favorite but mind you I usually only wear gourmands/oriental/spicy/green scents. I’m not really a lover of fresh scents but I grab this after a shower for the feeling of extra freshness or on a productive day. It does have a very sharp opening still, but it settles down after a minute or two. Blind bought this today and tested it.. It's very nice and airy, kind of reminds me of an angel on a cloud (the name probably gives that impression too) but so far I don't find it groundbreaking. I know a lot of people have said that Coty may have messed around with it so I'm conscious that the reformulation may be what's made it less appealing. Would be interested to see if I could find an original to compare them both. I do like it but not that amazed overall, I get the florals and I smell a little powder (which weirdly is not listed in the notes). I think it would have been my favourite scent if I'd got it in my younger days. A good day time scent anyway. I can't believe there are 3 citruses listed here as notes, I barely smell any, just a bit of bergamot for a few fleeting minutes. I really don't smell jasmine either, it's just "white floral" (so "freesia" works, because that's exactly how freesia always seems to me). I also get 0 rose (if you want a clean rose&musk try Lazy Sunday Morning), truly all I smell here is musk and freesia.

In saying that, wearing this helps me fool myself into thinking I am a well-rounded, cultured, kind, approachable woman who always wears white cotton or linen and maintains a spotless home (Ahahahahaha - dreams!). I feel on these weird days Amazing grace suits perfectly. People around you won't notice it as a scent, but rather notice you smell good, instead of your perfume smelling good. It gives a clean sensation with lots of lemons and tiny tiny apple accord, but very soon the lemony edges are tamed down by some feminine florals with rose and jasmine and fluffed with clean musk. Johnson & Johnson baby lotion in the pink bottle! That's all I'm getting :( smells similar to Harajuku Lovers's "Baby" also. It's not a bad scent in the least, I enjoy the smell of baby lotion and babies in general. Personally I would not like to smell of it myself, though. This has DNA similar to the old classic "White Shoulders" perfume: feminine, floral, "hairspray-esque". It's fleeting - on my skin it almost disappeared in less than an hour.

I got it from Sephora set as mini bottle and I loved it so much as after I finished, I went ahead to bought full set of big bottle plus body whipped cream and shower gel in same line. The scent does start off strong but once it dries down you're left with a much softer scent. Although it does fade a bit it does linger and last all day on me. This week I came across a little 15 ml bottle, bought it right away and I am so happy I got it because now it was a instant love.
