The tent has doors on all sides. This is quite unusual to see, and frankly, I do not see the point of so many doors for such a single-room tent. The picture below shows how it looks with two of the doors open. As you realize from the pictures, the walls are steep and almost straight, so I would put it in the group of cabin tents. To pitch, you simply peg out the flysheet and insert the pole. The tent’s inner can be removed if you want to use it as a sunshade or bivvy, and if the weather is warm the centre pole can be extended to increase airflow. At most major festivals there are also initiatives to reduce the amount of tents going into landfill by donating them to charities and other good causes. So there is nothing really “hydraulic” here, but the setup is indeed fast and easy, so I have included it in my list of best instant camping tents. We also take note of tents that struggle against the wind and need frequent re-pegging. Some tents actually blow over entirely.

It’s expensive compared to basic pop-up and fast pitch tents, but this high-quality design is made using tough ripstop polyester, has excellent alloy components and is extremely waterproof. It’s an investment, but will last for years. While they take a little longer to pitch than pop-up designs, inflatable tents, especially large six to 12 person designs, take a fraction of the time to pitch compared to standard large tents. Just peg out and pump them up. They’re expensive and often hard to deflate, but great if you’re planning a week or so under canvas. This is both good and bad. The good is that you have poles from outside, this is sometimes described as a dry setup, and this means you can pitch this tent even when it is raining and its inner space will remain protected.
