Yes. The Wheely Bugs are safe for toddlers and younger children. They are certified tested to EN 71 -71: 2014, US ASTM- F 963 - 17, and AU/NZ ISO8124:2014 standards. The testing happens twice a year to ensure that each toy is safe for your tiny tots. We continuously test our PU material too. Wheelybugs are certified tested to EU, US, and AU/NZ standards. The testing is repeated bi annually. Additionally we have our PU material tested continuously.

Wheelybug bodies have a padded layer of sponge which is covered with a tough layer of polyurethane leatheroid and can be easily wiped clean. They are great to use on smooth level floors and ideal for indoors.

We invent, design and manufacture right here in the US. But we won’t make just anything—we have to be able to make a product that matters, is safer, or is just plain better. The tough layer of polyurethane leatheroid can be easily wiped clean, and the wooden base—made from plantation grown Poplar plywood—has safe, rounded edges. The maximum recommended rider weight is 25kg; however each wheel is rated at 30kg giving a total safe working load of 120kg!! Adults can happily take a spin on them, or they make a very handy low mobile stool! Any smooth, flat surface is suitable. However keep them away from dirt or sand as this can get into the castors and slow them down. Also do not leave the toy outside in the rain or direct sunshine for long periods as this can damage the surfaces. These ride-on critters feature bright, friendly designs and padded bodies to ensure your child can play comfortably for hours. They are entirely multidirectional: allowing your child to move about however they please—while strengthening legs and motor skills. Each Wheely Bug has feelers or ears which wobble and delight as the child moves about.
