About this deal

I am trying to fit my tado Radiator thermostat to my Drayton TVR 3/2/4C - Thread M28 X 1.0 mm. The tado adapter is a terrier AD3 (635111). I bought HCO Code 05A02 from your store but it is not working. Is this the correct adapter?

Wiser Radiator Valve Adapter Guide | Wiser

Your Hive Radiator Valves come with the two most common valve body adaptors and other adaptors are available free of charge from Hive. Your radiator's valve pin controls how much hot water flows into your radiator. When the pin is pushed all the way down, the rubber diaphragm inside closes and stops water from getting in. After removing the old radiator control you should now see your radiator valve pin (the shape of the pin can vary and may look different to the image above). I've already added the controls to some Westherm valves using adapters which look like the adapters in your pic - these didn't fit the Orkli TRVs because of the pin length. The Orkli pin is 10.5mm long (I have a photo if that would help).Hive Heating Plus helps you control how much you spend on your heating. It also keeps an eye on how you are heating your home and provides personal suggestions to improve efficiency. Set your savings target Hive Hub is the essential brains of the operation. It plugs into your broadband router and connects all of your Hive devices wirelessly so they can be easily controlled remotely. System Requirements Or if none of them are suitable then I guess this would this mean I'd need to get this section changed on all the radiators? Once you have enabled Heat On Demand, your Hive Radiator Valve will boost your thermostat automatically to turn on your heating and make heat available to your radiators when they need it. While calibrating, your heating needs to be on. If you install your Hive Radiator Valve over the summer and your heating is off, it will start calibrating when you switch your heating on again. However, if you want to speed up the process, there's a special calibration cycle available in the app that can do this for you.

TRV Adapter - Stevenson Plumbing M28 (28mm) x M30 (30mm) Myson TRV Adapter - Stevenson Plumbing

The male thread on the top of the adapter is M30 (30mm) and the female thread on the bottom is M28 (28mm).Remember: If your radiator has manual (“+ / -”) valves rather than thermostatic valves (with a numbered dial) then your valve body will need to be replaced before proceeding. The OP has an old Danfoss valve, and this is Honeywell's adaptor kit for the earlier Danfosses. The big adapter even has the little bumps around the inside to mate with the dimples around the valve skirt I can see. Of course the big question is whether a Hive head would fit onto this thread, and even if it did whether the motorised head would be able to depress the pin enough. There is a "pin extender" in the kit, but looks the wrong internal diameter! Hive Radiator Valves can be self-installed if you already have TRVs on your radiators. Simply unscrew your existing TRV head and replace it with a Hive Radiator Valve.

Honeywell Home ACH28 Thermostatic Radiator Valve Adaptor– The Honeywell Home ACH28 is a Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV) adaptor which allows Honeywell HR92/HR91 Radiator Controllers to fit TRV’s with an M28 x 1.5mm thread, such as the COMAP range of TRV’s. You'll save 10% on your Hive Radiator Valve(s) today and you can cancel Hive Heating Plus at any time. The RA adaptor is the only adaptor that has a screw. Slip the adaptor over the radiator valve and use the hex key provided to securely fasten it. You’ll need to select the correct adaptor to fit your Hive Radiator Valve to your existing valve body. If your valve doesn’t have a screw thread, see the next section. I had bought some Hive Radiator Valves (maybe a mistake...), but in principle the idea is excellent - control temperature of individual rooms for specific times without having to keep adjusting the valves - great when working from home.

To make one room warm while keeping all other rooms cooler, you need to have Hive Radiator Valves installed on all your main radiators. You can then set one radiator to warm up while setting all the other radiators to lower temperatures. If a British Gas engineer has installed your Hive products and you’d like to return them, you’ll need to let us know within 14 days from the point of installation. I have "Viking by Orkli 5" TRVs and want to fit eqiva bluetooth thermostats. So, I need M28 to M30 adapters... but...
