About the SQE - ReviseSQE
As a final year solicitor apprentice, I was part of the very first cohort of students to take the SQE1 exams in November 2021. Furthermore, studying together does not only allow you to experience the different approaches people may take towards the SBAQs but it also requires you to potentially defend your answer. Having to explain your reasoning for a particular answer can also highlight any troubles you may have in understanding legal principles or whether you may have misread the question or facts in general. Moreover, when having to explain why you chose a particular answer you simultaneously strengthen your confidence in your ability to answer a question by yourself which will prove beneficial for the real assessment. The Legal System (The Legal System of England and Wales and Sources of law, Constitutional and Administrative law and EU law, and Legal services).Both exams require the candidate to use the legal knowledge gained in SQE1 and apply this to the practical assessments. This course will prepare you for the SRA’s centralised SQE1 assessments. The SQE1 assessments will test functioning legal knowledge (FLK) through two multiple choice assessments, each comprising 180 Single Best Answer Questions (SBAQs). In this stage, you will learn six important skills needed to be successful on SQE2, using study aides such as: SQE Answered is written with MCQs in mind. The SQE multiple choice questions (MCQs) need to be answered in a certain way – but other textbooks and course notes only tell you the law, rather than showing you how to apply it for exam success. That’s why our guides walk you through each topic, and show you how to apply that topic to MCQs, so you are 100% ready for your exams.
