I must find a sootpaw direbear (Dragon's Head Drifts area) ( -357, -371, 3187 ) Copy /waypoint -357, -371, 3187 The origin and history of the idiom "for the ages" are unclear, but there are some possible explanations. One theory is that it comes from the Latin phrase "ad aeternitatem," which means "for eternity" or "forever." Ancient Romans used this phrase to describe something meant to last forever or be immortalized. When I bought book one of these, little did I know what I was letting myself in for. In all honesty I’m a ‘cover snob’ and when covers look cheap I tend to think the books are either author printed, or are just the cheapest of book publishers, I did say I was a snob when it comes to books! She painted a portrait for the ages, capturing the essence and beauty of her subject. I have no words for how perfect it is. One For the Ages is a fantastic addition to this excellent series by J. D. Kirk. I enjoy reading books in this series, and One For The Ages did not disappoint. I had trouble putting this book down. I love J. D. Kirk's portrayal of his characters and how they interact throughout this book. One For The Ages is well-written and researched by J. D. Kirk. I like J. D. Kirk's description of the settings of One For The Ages, which allowed me to imagine being part of the book's plot.

One For the Ages" is a phrase commonly used to describe a significant event or accomplishment that is regarded as exceptional, remarkable, or historic. An occurrence or accomplishment of such memorable and striking prominence that it shall endure within our recollections indefinitely. As expected the team is still brilliant and I loved Sinead’s maternity replacement. A lot happens with the character development in this novel which is excellent. Hoon, in his consultant role adds spice to the story (and flowery language used). The one-liners - just masterful! Fast paced thriller that had me absolutely creased in parts. One thing I love about this series is the humour within the books. I really enjoyed seeing some of the older characters in the series return in this one (Heather and my favourite, Hoon). However, I did struggle with Heather’s storyline as I couldn’t remember what had happened to her in the last book and there’s not enough information in One For The Ages for you to know without having re-read the previous instalment. When a blood-soaked old man is spotted wandering through a sleepy fishing village in the far north of Scotland, his neighbours think he’s been in an accident. My jaw dropped. The movie was a masterpiece for the ages, with stunning visuals and captivating performances. The concert was a musical extravaganza for the ages, featuring some of the most talented artists of our time. I must find a frostpaw direbear south of Ry'Gorr Keep ( -797, -338, 3124 ) Copy /waypoint -797, -338, 3124 The brutal murder of an elderly woman in her own home sends Logan and his team to a remote Highland village. Was is the husband, found wandering around drenched with blood? The carer, a frequent visitor to the home trusted by all? An estranged family member hoping for an inheritance? The team has their work cut out for them, especially with Sinead having to stay behind and an overly chatty temporary replacement to integrate into their efforts.

These books never fail to entertain… that is what they are here for pure unadulterated entertainment… if you have a wild sense of humour you will love this… there are a lot of Scottish terms, references to food, cups of tea and many a biscuit and the jokes!!! BUT be warned and I warn you all in every review… IF YOU HATE SWEARING DO NOT READ THESE BOOKS …. They feature some pretty foul language… it doesn’t bother me because it add to the colour of the characters… I know some people find it unnecessary but… in this case I think it actually adds to it… thats just for me though… so if you are easily offended by swearing then I would suggest skipping these… and especially the spin off Bob Hoon novels because he is a foul mouthed mongrel at best 🤣SEC Network launched #HomeSchoolSpirit this week, a new initiative as part of its “We Love It Here” brand campaign. To access the Epilogue, you need to reach the ‘post-game’ section after the credits roll. To do that, you need to defeat Hades 10 times. After the credits roll, you’ll be in the post-game. You’ll gain access to new features, characters, and weapons. Overall - I recommend this to you if you love a good solid police procedural, don’t mind or can put up with a fair bit of swearing (I promise no C bombs), you like reading about different places - the Scottish scenery and landscape features heavily in these books and I love it and you just want to have a laugh… If none of that appeals to you then definitely don’t read it. It could refer to pivotal speeches like Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech during the Civil Rights Movement or landmark events such as the moon landing in 1969. OK FINALLY a 5 Star book I can get behind!!! I say this every time I read one of these books BUT I always expect after 16 books that these will start to become not so good… God am I always proven wrong and thank goodness for that. I just love this series and I simply never want it to end.
