About this deal

I have a Headrush frfr 112 in my basement on a plastic keyboard stand horizontal at head height when I'm seated along with other various amps and monitors around my desk. I mostly use the Headrush these days. I think it sounds great. I didn't have to tweak anything to get the sound I'm happy with. I build and tweak my patches with it, and they sound good when I go live. For live, my Helix goes direct to front of house and I use in ears plugged into a Powerplay digital monitor mixer. I'm happy with the sound. I'm thinking about getting another one to do stereo.

There’s two inputs with gain controls for each but it’s worth noting that any onboard cab sim you select will apply to both. There’s three preset EQ settings too; two for guitar and a PA preset. You can also edit the LED brightness and contrast to suit your surroundings. In 2017 the HeadRush FX Multi-FX/Amp Modeller exploded onto the scene in a big way, with its finely-tuned quad-core processor and state of the art DSP software making it the go-to all-in-one unit for professional and amateur guitarists the world over. Now HeadRush are releasing the ultimate addition to this fantastic multi-FX unit: introducing the HeadRush FRFR-112, a full-range, flat-response powered PA speaker with a crushing 2000 Watts of peak output power! The Perfect Gigging Companion for your Headrush FX Pedalboard Now that you've elevated your rig to the industry-standard of todays modellers with the HeadRush FX (or similar), you need never have to rely on the limited frequency response of a traditional amp or PA speaker again thank to the FRFR-112. The full-frequency, flat response nature of this fabulous speaker cabinet allows you to hear your rigs as they were meant to be heard without any unwanted artificial colouration.

El woofer de 12 pulgadas y el driver de compresión de alta frecuencia proporcionan una respuesta plana y precisa en todo el rango de frecuencias.

Most importantly, inside the enclosure there’s a chunky power amp capable of producing a whopping 2,000 watts at peak or around 1,000 watts continuous. Whichever rating you choose, that’s ample power for any venue, with headroom to carry over every nuance of your sound. Sounds Harley Benton’s 1 x 12 FRFR-112A comes with three cab sims of its own and 1,200 watts of Class D power amp; that's a lot of potential headroom. It’s also worth noting that these kinds of active speaker offer potential beyond guitars due to their FRFR nature that can handle a wide range of frequencies and tones with a neutral output. Only a mirror is relevant in that regard. However, the best looking guy in the world (besides me) can look great in the mirror and have crap for an attitude. We found ourselves gravitating to Sim 1 both with a Helix and then a Victory VH4 valve preamp pedal. With superb clarity and punch, it provided an all-round superb platform for our tones that we could then deal in further from the guitar and our preamp unit parameters. I do not own a Headrush 112 so please take my comments as "general knowledge".... not necessarily an answer to this problem.

A huge 2,000 watts at peak or around 1,000 watts continuous from the power amp here. But no cab sims. This thing is loud – more than we’d imagine anyone will possibly need with its maximum SPL of 134 DB. That’s better than not enough, right? But we’re a little surprised Harley Benton hasn’t entered the market with something a little smaller - say 250-watts.You should get an instant answer on whether your application has been successful, though in some rare cases Klarna or V12 may need to look at the application in more detail. After you’ve invested in a modelling unit, the need to spend out further can be off-putting. But showcasing the power of your tones is vital if you want to play with other musicians or just be inspired at home away from headphones. The FRFR 112-A allows you to do just that. Specially-voiced 12-inch woofer and high-frequency compression driver deliver a precise, full response across the entire frequency range without any artificial colouration Drivers: 12" LF Driver w/ 3" High-Temp Voice Coil; 1.4" Voice coil, neodymium-magnet high-freq driver with precision waveguide

That video sounds like they had the contour switch on. Did they make ANY attempt to eq for the individual speakers, or did they just set all the heads the same? Who DOESN'T know that an FRFR speaker on the floor sounds different than on a pole? The other three FRFR speakers in the video were actually optimized for guitar - why use the TS312 instead of the HR FRFR112? Better would have been a comparison between the TS312 and equivalent Yamaha, QSC and JBL offerings Actually, based solely on that video, I wouldn't buy ANY of those speakers! Even the guitar cab didn't sound all that great.FRFR stands for Full Frequency Flat Response - this is designed to be similar to a studio monitor in that it amplifies the incoming signal with clarity and no additional colouration. For guitar modelling devices (such as the Headrush Pedalboard), this is an absolute necessity - you've spent all that time crafting the perfect tone and you need a speaker to accurately convey your sound.
