Anybody have any recommendations of one versus the other? Looks like the V350 F it’s more expensive and weighs about 50 g more because it has the rechargeable lithium battery, but has a faster recycle time. I’m wondering if that fast or recycle time and longer charge justifies the extra cost and extra weight of the V350 F . I’m wondering if 290 g versus 240 g will impact my desire to take it on a vacation. I tried to test outdoors with HSS into the sun and this gives you an indication of how underpowered the flash would be for true HSS work outdoors. In reality, this is not what it’s designed for and I think it would be unfair to have these expectations of it. In this user manual, "master unit" refers to the camera flash on a camera and "slave unit" will be controlled by the master unit.
Me? I bought two so I can use them in the configurations I’ve shown here, and as a master-slave setup if I have an issue with a trigger.

Question is if I get the TT685 and try to use TTL will the two flashes be comparably equal in output or will the more powerful TT685 always put out more light when using two flashes in TTL. Saying it another way is will the TT685 act like the TT350 when used together?

It’s just about the perfect size for smaller Mirrorless cameras, and it honestly doesn’t look crazy like a full size flash would when sitting in the hot shoe. The Godox TT350F has a pretty unspectacular design, but it does the job it needs to do. I’ve certainly seen flashes that are far worse when it comes to overall design. Provided multiple functions, include manual flash, multi flash, HSS (up to 1/8000s), second curtain sync, FEC, etc.
