About this deal

Why do people choose motorcycles over other more comfortable and more practical forms of transport?

The reason why Darth Vader is still in his suit by the time the original trilogy rolls around is obviously because of how cool he looks in his suit. James Bond: The gadgets, the Evil Plans, some of the more improbable (and more awesome) fight/chase scenes... all the stuff Agent 007 does is governed by this trope. Zombieland. Why would you go to an amusement park and turn all the lights on, turning your location into a gigantic target? Why would you jump out of the car and let it sink into the river, instead of hitting the brakes suddenly? Why would you try to con the first signs of life instead of going with them, then why would you leave? Why would you take a motorcycle or a shovel to fight zombies? Why? Why? Because it's awesome. The car's model name can also be crucial to its image. Something like a Shelby Cobra conjures up connotations of a deadly animal, although the exception to this would be Ferrari - who seem to get by just fine with mere numbers. Of course, you’ll have your own ideas of what constitutes a cool watch – so do please let us know. Sure, maybe we’ll disagree. But, you know, that’s cool. Tudor Heritage Chrono

Motorcycles give people a sense of freedom that is difficult to simulate with other forms of transport. Among the concepts that walk the infamous thin line between "clever" and "stupid" are a German ninja, a giant robot mummy, and a martial arts master who takes off his sash and uses it to slash an enemy robot in half. What is it about motorcycles that capture young men’s hearts and causes them to remain passionate about motorcycles all their days! The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class is cool for a multitude of reasons, but in particular because it offers some of the most advanced in-car tech you'll find anywhere. A new 12.8-inch touchscreen is the centerpiece – replacing last year's 10.3-inch screen – and it replaces 27 knobs and dials from the previous model. There's also a new MBUX infotainment system, an updated "Hey, Mercedes" voice assistant now capable of recognizing up to 27 different languages, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is a technological tour de force. The wall-sculpture ''Night Flight'' . Depending on your point of view, it's either awesome on top of awesome or actually kind of impressive in terms of sheer ridiculousness.

But with typical humility, it soon knew that designer ‘edge’ doesn’t progress in remote, mountainous Saxony. Hence the establishment of Nomos’s design studio at ground zero for cool: east Berlin. Here, its unique modernism is painstakingly evolved at the hands of creative sorts with angular haircuts, fuelled by artisan coffee and avocado on rye. For the ultimate comfy sports cruiser, the rare five-speed automatics take the biscuit – although the much more common four-speed automatic still works well. Mercedes also offered a four-speed manual, which, although less popular when new than automatic transmissions, it is a peach to use.Maserati hasn't had a true supercar since the departure of the MC12 in the mid-2000s. But now the Italian brand has returned to form with the arrival of the mid-engined MC20. A stunning and stylish two-door, the MC20 gets a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 621 horsepower and 538 pound-feet, giving the sports car a 0-to-62 mile-per-hour sprint of just 2.9 seconds. This promo poster from Watchmen. True, he could be lighting the cigar purely from the convection of heat, or off the barrel of the flamethrower, but you do NOT want to taste a cigar that's been lit off a kerosene flame. While America may have had the original Mustang the UK and Europe had the Capri. In fact, the links between the two were supposed to be more obvious as Ford wanted to call its smaller sports coupe the Colt, but Mitsubishi put an end to that as they already had a model using that name. Roger Ebert says in his review of the Iron Man movie that military weapons tend not to look nearly as cool as Iron Man, but also that "It wouldn't be nearly as much fun to see a fight scene between two refrigerators crossed with the leftovers from a boiler room." The 1963 Sword and Sandal epic Jason and the Argonauts features what has been called one of the greatest Final Battle sequences in film history, and certainly the greatest stop-motion fight sequence in film history. Ray Harryhausen's previous film, the 1958 The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, featured a sword fight scene between the hero and an evil sorcerer's animated skeleton; it went down so well that for his next film he decided to up the ante and do three heroes fighting seven skeletons.

The jungle swordfight between Mutt and the bad girl. Realistic? Not in the least. Supremely friggin' awesome? Hell yes. The Bounty built for the 1962 movie Mutiny on the Bounty was twice the size of the real ship. Occasionally, replicas of old warships are made slightly larger to accommodate the taller sailors of today, but never to this extent. The Rule of Cool is another principle that seeks to dispel arguments among fans over implausibility in fiction. It has been cited by animation director Steve Loter (of Kim Possible, Clerks: The Animated Series, Tarzan, and American Dragon: Jake Long) in response to questions from fans attempting to justify temporary breaches in logical consistency. It is a complement to Bellisario's Maxim and the MST3K Mantra. Inside, it’s much the same desirable yet classy affair as the outside. The large, thin steering wheel, big round dials and subtle touches of chrome all work together to ooze sophistication. Countless famous faces have owned 280SLs, including the likes of John Lennon and Kate Moss. Cool’. One of those prevalent words that loses all meaning and starts to sound weird if you say (or type) it over and over again. But we say it all day every day, sure in the knowledge of its meaning – an X-factor that transcends all other positive qualities to denote that intangible, seemingly effortless, hip-to-the-game… well, cool.

A detachable bionic eye/camera? Rule of Cool. Foam grenades? Rule of Cool. Glasgow!? Rule of Cool. The entire thing is an exercise in attaching balls to walls. They have some other Eagle-themed wall art. Even a Thomas Kinkade painting looks awesome when reproduced on the outstretched wings of a large Eagle sculpture . Nissan’s 2.6-litre and 2.8-litre straight-six twin-turbo engines are something of a legend in car tuning circles thanks to their ability to handle significant power hikes via remaps and/or upgrades to the internals. Curiously, models were stated to come with around 276bhp from the factory but when tested their actual figures were closer to 330bhp. Surprisingly Nissan didn’t get swamped with complaints from owners. Chevrolet engines were planned to be used but it was Ford that showed the most enthusiasm. At first, Shelby used Ford’s 7.5-litre V8 but it was the 4.7-litre (or 289 cubic inch) V8 which would become the most famous engine. That said, the 7.0-litre unit later introduced to make the Cobra more competitive on the GT racing scene also grabbed attention – these models also got heavily revised suspension and a modified chassis, too. Some of the 7.0-litre models were built for racing and some for road use – the latter known as ‘427 Cobra S/Cs’ with S/C standing for ‘semi-competition’. While riding a motorcycle, the rider has to make many decisions continuously, which keeps your brain activity high. It is a well-known fact that the link between brain activity and long-term cognitive function is linked and can be found in many medical journals.

An in-story example appears in Toy Story: Almost no-one (Woody being the exception) calls out Buzz Lightyear on his delusion about being a real space hero as opposed to a toy, because he's just that cool. Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!: Happens In-Universe with the title character, who can shapeshift instantly with just a thought, but deliberately gave herself a full-fledged Transformation Sequence into her combat form entirely because she's a massive Otaku who thinks that sort of stuff looks awesome. This is also the reason her combat form resembles a combination of the Knight Blazer and a Kamen Rider, rather than anything more Lovecraftian. A specific example in soul society of bending the rule that meant they couldn't 'fly' in the first place - the Dynamic Entry into the cells where Rukia is held is assisted by a giant winged device that is ONLY useful in the Seireitei. A giant wing comes from nowhere while Ichigo radiates his badass aura, to the surprise of two captains, before discarding it and landing next to Rukia. Among motorcyclists, the wheelie is the stunt that is the most well-known and the one that is performed the most frequently. Even people who are not in the motorcycling world know what a wheelie is. “Doing a wheelie” may be a fun pastime, but it is also a pretty dangerous move to try. You must… The Hyper Space Mallet came with several by virtue of being a transforming tank. Then it becomes a transforming triad of spaceships.

Wanted as well as the director's previous films, Night Watch and Day Watch, where things exist for no other reason than because they're cool. Example: Let's drive a car across a building. Why? Why not? You get the feeling that when they were thinking of the concept for this movie, someone said, "What would happen if you took all the cool stunts from The Matrix, and turned them up a notch?"
