As instructed, I filled the M40SPC with the supplied Cobra oil and Aspen 4 alkylate fuel which I bought at my local garden machinery shop, closed the choke and it started on the third pull. I then slowly opened the choke and the 135cc Cobra DG450 OHVengine settled comfortably into its rhythm. Despite the weight, this mower’s self propulsion made it easy to push around and it cut the grass as well as most other models I’ve tested.
