About this deal

Above 85’C the material starts to soften, increasing the impact performance but at the same time losing structural strength. The material will continue to soften until approximately 140’C where the polymer begins to melt. Over the last 30 years Correx has replaced traditional materials like plywood and hardboard/masonite. Manufactured as an extruded polypropylene sheet, Correx is the original fluted protection board used on building and refurbishment contracts. The fluted construction provides strength and minimises weight. Specification High Tensile Strength: Because of it's layered design it is immensely strong and can with hold extreme weight or pressure. Our customers can now recycle your Correx board through our Recycling Scheme. The scheme allows for the disposal of our Proguard Correx® plastic sheeting. Returned Correx sheets are sorted, washed and re-granulated. They are then fully recycled and used in the production of new plastic products including our Proguard Correx Returned waste is sorted, washed and re-granulated. It is then fully recycled and reused in the production of new plastic products including our Proguard Correx® sheeting. If you do not comply with any of the above conditions, We reserve the right to refuse the return or exchange, or to impose different or additional conditions.

At temperatures below 0’C Correx® sheet becomes more rigid but at the same time becomes more brittle. Correx® Sheet is made from ethylene propylene copolymer which is resistant to impact. At normal operating temperatures ranging from approximately 0’C to 85’C a high level of impact resistance is expected. Flexible: It can be bended and manipulated to fit around curves with, obviously, the thinest being the easiest to bend. Recyclable: It's made from polypropylene plastic making it easily re-cyclable helping our environment. As a result of its corrugated structure this fluted sheet not only has the inherent strengths of plastic – such as durability, resistant to chemical damage, waterproof, etc. – it has the level of strength that is nothing short of extraordinary for a material of its size and weight. These qualities make White Correx Fluted Polypropylene Sheets ideal for a wide range of hard-wearing tasks; especially those that take place outdoors in inclement weather conditions. Proguard Protection Board is sim ilar to twinwall plastic sheeting, Antinox and Cordek corex board, and is ideal for the same uses – i.e. protection for floors and other surfaces. We recommend that Proguard Correx® Board is joined using Proguard Cloth Tape and that our Proguard Safety Cutting Tool is used to cut the sheets to size. At -18’C the impact strength is reduced by approximately 10%. No measurements have been taken for impact performance below -18’C in Correx® sheet but other industries routinely use polypropylene copolymer at temperatures down to -30’C (e.g. for ice cream tubs).

We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense. Correx Sheeting is also available in white/translucent and this type of Correx (COR/FR3) is Fire Retardant to LPS 1207 standards All of our fluted polypropylene products are corona treated to allow easy adhesion of printing inks, this product is ideal for long term interior or short term exterior useAlso known as Correx sheets, these sheets of Fluted Polypropylene provide exceedingly good value for money, which is only enhanced by the materials long life-span; which is why this material is so popular with estate agents and the like who need hard-wearing, long-life signs for both in and out door use.
