About this deal

The Puma was offered with no fewer than four engines during its short life. The launch unit was by far the most popular and, therefore, the one you’re most likely to encounter: a 1.7 16v VCT (variable cam timing) four-cylinder. It was joined in 1998 by a more insurance-friendly 89bhp 1.4, which was replaced in 2000 by a 102bhp 1.6 16v. Production for Sd.Kfz.234/2 shifted towards other armaments in 1944 that replaced the original. This produced variants such as the Sd.Kfz.234/1 which replaced the turret with an open-top one carrying a 2 cm KwK38, this was produced between mid-1944 to early 1945. Right besides that, the Sd.Kfz.234/3 was produced with an open-top structure to mount a 75 mm howitzer, this was produced from mid-1944 until the end of 1944. At the Sd.Kfz.234/3's production end, it was replaced by the Sd.Kfz.234/4, also known as the "Pakwagen", that had the armament replaced by a 7.5 cm PaK40 anti-tank gun. This last variant was produced from the end of 1944 to the capitulation of Germany in World War II. A total of 478 Sd.Kfz.234 armoured cars were produced, 200 of the 234/1, 101 of the 234/2, 88 of the 234/3, and 89 of the 234/4. The Puma was launched in 1.7-litre form in June 1997 and demand was instant. So much so that a Fiesta-engined 1.4-litre model was added in February 1998. Both handled superbly with their tuned Fiesta running gear. Only one 1.7-litre version was offered initially and there was never an automatic option. AB: There is a high chance your opponent already has "crew replenishment" researched, in which case if you will go for default strategy, you are likely to lose, as the commander can use the main weapon. Basically, treat PUMA as if you can only take it out in minimum two shots and disable its weapon first.

The turret is sealed away from the interior of the hull and won't detonate most of APHE shells, significantly reducing potential of collateral damage Criticism started early in the Puma's life cycle after large cost increases and time delays. Ever increasing change requests and the absurd 117 legal provisions that need to be followed, caused the delays and increase in cost. As early as 2013, there was a list of almost 1,000 different issues and deficiencies within the project. The detail touches are pleasing too. Both the fascia and the doors are trimmed with aluminium, while the gear-knob is a single cast lump of the same stuff and the Racing has it on the pedals, too. The instrument dials strike a different chord too - white-faced a la Fiesta Si. There are also thoughtful touches, like the full-sized bottle holders on either side of the two rear passengers' legs and the mobile 'phone receptacle in the centre console. The Puma has mediocre hull armour at first sight, supposedly barely withstanding 12.7 mm rounds, as it has at most 15 mm RHA. However, the external armour plates, spacing, internal RHA screens and modules make this vehicle a very capable one when it comes to survivability. For Ford enthusiasts, the 1990s will forever be seen as a golden era. After the disaster of the Mk5 Escort at the start of the decade, Ford learned its lesson and launched a series of models featuring fresh styling and excellent dynamics, with the highly praised Mondeo being followed by the Ka and the original Focus. Another highlight, however, was the sporting Puma of 1997, a compact coupe that used the same ‘BE91’ floorpan as the Mk4 Fiesta.Millennium edition is launched in October, featuring Zinc Yellow paintwork and leather seats; 1000 are produced.

In 1996, one year after the German Federal Office for Defense Technology and Procurement(BWB) had requested design specfications, Krauss-Maffei, Wegmann & Co.,MaK Systemgesellschaft mbH, KUKA Wehrtechnik, and Henschel-Wehrtechnik all presented their concepts. Different designs toyed with placing the engine in the front or the rear, and the weight varied between 55 to 71.9 tons. The legendary Richard Parry-Jones was responsible for the Puma’s superb road manners, applying his famous chassis expertise to create another top handling Ford. But what lay under the bonnet was also special, with the latest 1.7-litre 16-valve unit (co-developed with Yamaha) being tuned to produce 123bhp. For those buyers who didn’t need as much power (or who wanted cheaper insurance), an 88-90bhp 1.4-litre was added shortly after launch, usurped in 2000 by a 1.6-litre unit pushing out 100-103bhp. The ultimate version, however, was the limited-run Racing Puma of 1999, originally developed as a World Rally Championship homologation and featuring wide-arched bodywork, modified suspension and brakes, plus a 153bhp version of the 1.7-litre engine. High pricing meant slow sales, however, and these days the Racing Puma remains an expensive offering. At a price of 17 million Euros per unit, the Puma is the most expensive IFV in the world. In addition, due to the increased weight parameters during development, the Puma requires increased transportation for its modules that make it combat effective. Racing Puma is revealed in March, with uprated engine and beefed-up bodywork; fewer than 500 are produced.PUMA x McQueen: the Thunder Spectras are in line with their shape. Marking the collaboration of a renowned sports equipment manufacturer with a great reference in fashion, they stood out for their futuristic side and their imposing volume. Notable enemies you will meet are the T-34 (1942) and M4 Sherman, along with armoured tanks like the Churchill I, Matilda III, Valentine XI, and the KV-1 (L-11) These tanks are difficult to penetrate and require advanced knowledge of weak spots, so it is advised to avoid these where possible. Medium tanks are easier to combat if flanked; however, it is not always reliable due to the weak penetration of the PzGr 39 and the poor penetration of sloped armour for PzGr 40. On April 13, 2015 the army inspector declared the formal introduction of the Puma IFV into the German Army. Training began the same year with seven vehicles available with additional units arriving in the following months. Want to replace your Puma’s rotten rear wings? Genuine Puma parts are almost impossible to source these days but front wings from a Peugeot 206 are still available and can be adapted to fit the Ford by a skilled bodyshop technician. Remanufactured Puma sills are available from parts supplier Ex-Pressed Steel Panels.

The tank's speed in combination with its low spawn cost in RB as a light tank makes it ideal to spawn in at the start of the game and capture the objective in 2 or 3 point domination. This guarantees you spawn points for a respawn and gives you opportunities to flank the enemy.
