Together we dug into the processes of creating performance, as well as how positive wellbeing can be promoted through different art forms and for performers, participants, producers and audiences. Space was made for discussion around specific aspects of performance and intersections with personal identity, experiences and societal issues.

Individual lighting effects are less intense – we have taken out strobes and fast moving lights, as well as ‘blinder’ lights that would normally shine at the audience. This is an excellent project if you enjoy doing art and craft in your own home. Our Mindful Photography and Walking combines photography, nature, and an enjoyable variety of walks. When we are mindful, we are more aware of our surroundings. Photography can support us in slowing down our minds and really noticing things.WIT H IN is a powerful short film conveying the inner turmoil and battles faced by people who suffer with mental health issues. It is performed by Crowns and Owls, a London-based filmmaking and photography collective. Elsewhere, Hologate and Sony Pictures are using VR to provide the new Ghostbusters VR Academy experience. The immersive training simulator is set in the world of Ghostbusters. In one game, players can take on high-risk ghost encounters. In another, they can drive a new version of the Ecto car. Elsewhere, Universal filed a patent for an ‘interactive Pepper’s Ghost effect system’. Pepper’s Ghost is a special effects technique for creating holograms or transparent ghostly visuals. In Universal’s parks, visitors would be able to interact with the new Pepper’s Ghost effect using a handheld device.
