The DD SuperLight Pathfinder Mesh Tent can be used independently as a warm weather bug protected tent or combined with the Superlight Pathfinder Tent for a more traditional 2 layer tent. If you do not have a sewing machine or if you’d prefer the waterproof, flexible qualities of tent repair glue, you can use this to repair your tent instead. Make sure to allow the patch to cure by letting it sit undisturbed for 24 hours before you put your tent away. This will ensure that the bonding is complete and uninterrupted. Thread your sewing needle with the appropriate fabric thread (usually either nylon or polyester) that your tent mesh is made from. Set up your sewing machine. Connect the apex of the tent up to your saddle with the included elastic cord to lift the bug net, unzip and climb in. The adjustment straps allow for usage with a wide range of saddle heights. Drape the area of the tent that you’re working on over a flat surface. Using water or an alcohol wipe or a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol, wipe along the edges of the ripped mesh to clean it. Wait for the area to dry before proceeding. Step 2: Sew the mesh together and secure it The DD SuperLight - Pathfinder Mesh Tent is designed to be as light as possible and set up in no time: simply prop up the foot end with the spreader bar provided, and the top end with a Hiking Pole.
