About this deal

Although the story has various plot lines and characters, it never felt jumbled and I always knew where I was in the story. I guessed one part, but that doesn’t spoil it for me, I was happy to have got it right but other parts were a complete surprise and I was never sure if the various stories would link together. Instead of being sectioned off like some other clubs, the open, two-story format of LAX allows for a colossal party scene like no other. Bars at either end of the dance floor make it convenient to grab a drink right off the dance floor. House and guest DJs blast hip-hop and rap, Top 40 and electronic music through the sound system at this nightclub to ensure the dance floor is always lively. The case for Matt and Liz is 2 young men studying at university, both talented photographers but found dead in their room from carbon monoxide poisoning. A faulty boiler was to blame but was it? Alex' mother doesn't think so and asks them to investigate.

I returned it. I feel bad. But I gave it three stars because I feel like it’s my fault I didn’t like it. Endo B: This Endo appears on Floors 4 and 2. They will stare at the player, and will steadily move towards you while you look away. Letting them touch you while looking away will result in death. They can get caught on objects, and will never move as long as they are on screen. You can touch and move them around without dying as long as you are looking at them.Floor 3: Make it to the end of the long corridor. You can die to Endo F if you don't reach the door in time or you turn around. Briefly, Matt and Liz are now Private investigators and have just completed a case and looking forward to a break. However before they can get away they are approached by the mother of a university student who asks them to look into his death. He and his friend died and whilst the police are treating it as an accident she has suspicions. They trace the deaths to a photograph taken by the students which appears to show a girls face in the window of a deserted building. Who is she and what does it mean? . At the same time, and apparently unrelated, a young ashmatic boy goes missing. What if any is the connection?

Two days later, Toby and Alex are dead. Carbon monoxide poisoning. An unfortunate accident. But Alex’s mother doesn’t believe it. She hires Matt and Liz to find out the truth. Alex’ grieving mother does believe this and hopes former DCI, now private detective, Matt Ballard and his partner Liz Haynes will find out what really happened to her son. Coincidentally, Matt’s informant friend Minty brings him a flash drive that a terrified young man handed him as he fled an outdoor market. It contains Toby’s last photo among others. With the help of Liz’ nephew and computer expert David, they see a blurred image on the enlarged photo. Was this what led to the students’ murder? And does this have something to do with a rise in crime in local villages in the fenland? And how does a missing nine year old boy fit into this investigation?Ridiculous? Well, yes, but that was the point. Foundation ceremonies could be very dreary occasions: “ragging” certainly livened things up. They were also an effective way for graduating students to “let off steam”. More importantly, they were a negotiated inversion of staff-student relations in an institution that was markedly hierarchical. “Ragging” was a classic example of “authorised transgression”. They were carnivalesque, temporarily inverting the rules and power structures while simultaneously blunting social criticism. Matt Ballard and Liz Haynes – ex-cops, now private investigators – were contemplating a relaxing break when a distraught woman came to beg them to look into the death of her young son, a university student of photography. He and his best mate had both died under suspicious circumstances, but it had been ruled an accident. Matt and Liz agreed to look into it, not realizing it would be the biggest case they’d faced since retiring from the force. And they have a new case, postponing again their break at the seashore, and with the help of computer master David they are exploring the death of two young college boys. Dispite the label of accidental death, they are sure this was murder. What did they see, photograph, that got them killed? Who is next?

Zhang used his moment of glory to call out Tyson Fury, saying in his ringside interview: “To the audience, I want to ask you a question: Do you want to see me shut Tyson Fury up?” This is my first book by this author. I was pleased with the story and didn’t feel lost since I hadn’t read the other books. I look forward to reading the next one.

Joy Ellis knows how to set a scene. I could put this book down. Intricately plotted the strands are gathered together providing an on the edge of your seat mystery. Highly recommended. Oh, and one line really pissed me off (something like) “although she was overweight, she had a beautiful complexion.” WTF, Joy? How about “she was overweight and had a beautiful complexion.” I’m all for people being described as overweight, but why “although”?

Young Toby Unsworth is in his final year of a photography course at university. For his last assignment he will be taking pictures between sunset and sunrise - using slow shutter speed. Matt and Liz Ballard are, as usual, absolutely superb. Sharp, intuitive, brave and courageous, in their latest case they are going to need to keep their wits about them in their search for the truth. In this book we see the pair trying to help David, a relative who has had lifetime dreams of joining the Police only to fail the exercise tests due to a childhood illness. With his dreams in tatters can Liz and Matt help him find a new direction for his career? I am hoping to find out more about David in future books. It starts with David, friend of Matt & Liz who failed his police exam. He is helping Matt & Liz with their investigation, simultaneously trying to come to terms with this huge disappointment. There’s other plot lines too - a young lad goes on holiday to his aunt’s and they both disappear, Minty, a criminal that Matt is familiar with but has a soft spot for also makes an appearance and the major criminals in the area feel threatened by something and are employing their own methods for finding out what’s going on, leading to more deaths and disappearances all while the local police are busy with another in depth case. Matt and Liz, our favorite officers turned private investigators, are hired by Alex's mother to look into the boys' deaths. She thinks there's something fishy going on but the local police write her off as a grieving mother who doesn't want to accept the death of her son. Matt and Liz take the case but warn Alex's mother that there may not be anything suspicious about their deaths and she'll have to accept that. It's only because one of Matt's old informants comes to him about a possibly related strange occurrence that he accepted the case. He doesn't believe in coincidences. Bonnie: He will appear at around 3 AM, and will appear in each camera, staring directly at it. Instead of killing you, he destroys the camera, making it so you can't see what's in there. Bonnie himself can't kill you. To counter him, simply do not look at him in the cameras. Using Bonnie to break one or two cameras on purpose is a pretty good strategy, because Foxy will always spawn on active cameras, which means that the entrances corresponding to broken cameras are totally safe to open. However, if all cameras are broken Foxy will spawn anyway and there no way to make him despawn, so break two cameras at most.
